19 Swan Cor, PulboroughOur first visit to River Moon. The menu is extensive and varied enough for anyone's taste. My wife and I have not visited a Thai restaurant before, but we were pleasantly surprised and enjoyed both our starters and main course.Very pleasant and attentive staff.

London Rd, Ashington, PulboroughThe food was excellent! I had the prawn and it was cooked perfectly. My family had masala, chicken 65 and tandoori mix grilled. The service was wonderful. The ambiance was perfect as they refurbished. Overall, this was an incredible dining experience.I had a great experience at this restaurant and definitely will come back and recommended everyone to try it out. Also booked for abba night 27th march 2024. Thanks curry lounge ?

Kinsbrook Vineyard, Restaurant & Farm Shop
Kinsbrook Vineyard, W Chiltington Rd, Thakeham, PulboroughI came across the vineyard in Autumn 2021 whilst staying locally (it was recommended as a dog-friendly place to visit by our hosts). This was one of our best finds ever and the beginning of a professional and personal love story with a fantastic place run by amazing local folk with great values who support fellow local businesses and people.I've loved to capture images at the vineyard since, on many occasions, and to see it grow and both my husband and myself and our dog have visited countless times.Kinsbrook Vineyard is a brilliant dog-friendly place for an intimate wedding or elopement, a celebration, coffee or brunch (highly recommend their newly launched Sunday roasts) in all seasons: cosy in the Winter, bay windows open on the vineyard in the warmer Summer months with plenty of covered space inside or outside and often live music as well as seasonal and special events (I highly recommend their Supper Clubs! ).Dogs are welcome throughout including in the farmhouse and around the vineyard (with the exception of the fresh produce shop area, understandably) and their well behaved humans too in a delightful, relaxed atmosphere with fantastic food and friendly service.

Station Rd, PulboroughHave not had fish and chips for ages, but just fancied some. Always liked this shop and did not disappoint. We had 2 large cod and one large chips between and could just about finish the meal. Absolutely fab piece of fish, crispy batter and just right fish shop chips, slightly soggy and plenty of vinegar.Sometimes the idea of fish and chips is better than the reality, not in this case, all lovely

The Rising Sun
The St, Nutbourne, PulboroughThe existing reviews and pictures do not do this lovely village pub justice! We stayed nearby and came for dinner on a Friday night with our dog. The service was superb and the food was so yummy and well priced. We had the lamb, fish & chips, and plaice with mash and greens, followed by ice cream and a crumble to share. Our dog was so welcomed and the resident dog, Chalky, is a real cutie. They stayed open very late for a village pub too - way past midnight! The building is beautiful. The owner and chef were chatty and friendly. My only regret is that we didn't get the chance to go back later this weekend for a roast!

The Squire & Horse

The quality of the food is consistently good and we have never had a disappointing meal there. Staff are friendly and service is very good.

Very good service, tasty food but even when you take into consideration that we had the 2 course set menu, it was too expensive for what we had.We liked it but we wouldn't return only for that reason.Parking: Make sure you allocate some extra time to park. There is a carpark but it only takes coins, how quaint lol

Very impressed with the food and the steak and ale pie were probably the best i have ever tasted and generos portions.The meals were delicious and the food was hot when served. It was also excellent value and a warm and welcoming atmosphere.Hope to pop back there some time .

We'll be there next month which should tell you all you need to know!With a huge car park, (so great for car or bike clubs), friendly staff, unpretentious food & refreshments, all in decent portions make it a great stop off or meeting place. I had breakfast this time but the freshly cooked liver and onions I had last time for a mid week lunch was superb..Update - went back for lunch a run out and had a very filling lunch with lots of fresh, superbly cooked vegetables accompanying a cottage pie, followed by a chocolate sponge pudding with custard to die for.This place is seriously good at what it does!

18 Lower St, PulboroughStaff fine as are delivery drivers, just wish they'd get my order right everytime rather than sometimes (and just to be clear when its wrong its only ever toppings, they're either not there or there's something different). Only had to complain about my order once in all the years and the staff member was very professional and polite.

The truth of the matter was l was too lazy to cook and they are the only people that deliver!The phone call to them was courteous,a good start.The food arrived hot within 40 minutes and was delicious. It was delivered by a young man who was very polite. So my experience with Papas was very good. Thank you.
