Having eaten there on and off for a number of years, The Squire has now become our go to pub/restaurant for a reasonably priced evening dinner or pub lunch. The quality of the food is consistently good and we have never had a disappointing meal there. Staff are friendly and service is very good.

A seriously good traditional lunch. Four if us each chose different main courses and we all really enjoyed what we had. Puns were equally good - and so was the bill !

Just wanted to say thank you very much for allowing us to stop overnight in our motorhome and providing such lovely food on both Saturday & Sunday, together with great service by such friendly staff.Well done & have already sung your praises to a few folks we have spoken to that are local to you.Unfortunately, we are not local, but if we can manage a trip to include another visit to you we will certainly look forward to it.Kid-friendliness: Good children’s menu

Wish we could have tried the food! Arrived at 2.10pm and were rudely told that they had stopped serving before we even made it through the door. Could work on their customer service...

As per usual the food is fantastic and despite having to deal with a large party was served quickly. The roast potatoes are to die for as is the steak and kidney pudding. All of our large group seemed very happy with their menu choices. Very friendly and attentive staff despite a very busy lunchtime service. Well worth a visit especially if you are members of their club.

I’ve been to this restaurant a couple of times recently, the food is always superb and great attention to detail. Roast beef Sunday lunch followed by sticky toffee pudding with butterscotch sauce is a match made in heaven.
