We had never been before but our daughter gave us a present of afternoon tea. We were asked to come at 1pm which we duly did. The greeting at our arrival was charming and kind and throughout our meal the girls were wonderful and service was excellent. The restaurant was lovely with excellent Xmas decorations. The afternoon tea was a meal in itself with good quality nibbles, sandwiches, cakes and festive sausage rolls and mince pies. We really enjoyed our entire time and thank you all for enhancing our present. Well done!

"DO YOU HAVE A BOOKING ! " That was our greeting. A loyal customer for six months. we did not have a booking but there were plenty of free tables. "ARE YOU HERE FOR LUNCH" "Yes coffee and tapas" UNLESS YOUR HAVING A FULL LUNCH WE CAN NOT SEAT YOU WE CAN DO A TAKE AWAY. We were flabergasted . We shall not return they obviously do not need or want are custom.

We held our company Christmas Event with Palm Court Pavillon, there were a near total of 100 people in attendance and the evening was beautiful. We had a three course meal which was served seamlessly, especially as we had a few with special dietary requirements, it was delicious. The team at Palm Court were fantastic from booking to the very end. We will definitely be booking in again for 2024. Nice touch with the jukebox for the after party! Thank you all

Fantastic hot food, service efficient and with a smile. Nothing was an effort when we asked for extra. A mammoth task for the staff as we were a large Christmas party. They delivered on every level, I would highly recommend and l will certainly be back.

We got there at 1.00 to be told straight away that they close at two!! Then waited 30 minutes for food, the food was very good though, it was cold inside I had to leave my coat on.

Recently had our wedding, ceremony and reception at Palm Court. I was blown away by the level of care and love that went into making our special day as easy as can be. The staff were polite and pro active. The owners were amazing and made a very nervous couple feel at ease. The food was top tier, felt like a very posh spread, again lots of effort put into presentation. Pricing was fair in today's economy. Expresso martinis on tap was a firm fav ? The grounds are stunning and made for an amazing photo shoot. The building looked stunning. They have a beautiful marque, where we were to have our food, but the caring owners advice and extra work, recommended we have the food in the building to keep abit warmer. This was more work for them but showed they cared! Overall 10/10 and I will love to come back and celebrate anniversarys there in the future.

Was shocked at the price today . Myself and my grandmother took a trip for lunch and after reading through the menu was very shocked and disappointed. Sandwiches/ panini's around £12 yes may come with a few chips or small soup but still seem exorbitant and did not really fancy the soup or chips . Most places do small side salad with it for around £7/£8 which seems much more reasonable Fillings not particularly exciting or generous. Staff fairly friendly but not that personal touch. Don't think we will return again at those prices which is a shame as decor pretty but cafe definitely doesn't fulfill potential . Also background music was very depressing.

The food was delicious. It was very tasty and well presented. There was a very friendly and warm atmosphere in the restaurant. We were served by Sarah and she looked after us very well.

Lovely setting and good friendly service. Thank you Sarah, we had afternoon tea, (at our request at 1pm). Very nice sandwiches, scones and cakes, more that we could eat. Very pleasant surroundings, inside, Outside there were plenty of seats in the sun if you wanted, the marquee wasn't being used but look welcoming with some tropical Plants.

We had a voucher that stated it was for a deluxe afternoon tea for one. We phoned the restaurant four times and there was no answer, so we made our way to the restaurant. When we arrived at 12, we saw on the sign outside that they served afternoon tea after 2 o’clock in the afternoon. We are a family of five with three small children, so we gave them a small snack and resolved to come back later. When we came back we were told that we couldn’t sit down at the many empty tables because we have a book ahead. Also, even though we were going to buy an additional cream tea we could not use a voucher and share it with our three very small children, if they wanted to have a cream tea they would have to buy one each. it was a sham. We were made to wait in the middle of the restaurant with no apology and a slight insinuation that we had written the voucher ourselves! The server took the voucher and wrote in pencil booking required as it was not already on the voucher. I gave them proof that I had phoned four times with no answer, but still, they were not willing to let myself and my young family sit down and fulfil the terms of the voucher that we had. The children were all really sad and didn’t understand why the lady had been rude to us and told us we couldn’t eat there. We didn’t have any words to explain either.

Had a lovely roast here on a Sunday. Food came out very fast and was very tasty and all the staff are super friendly . We are outside in October which was a bonus. Would fully recommend

We came for breakfast. Breakfast choices were nice, no vegan breakfast as such, but they were happy to modify. The sausages were richmond I think, lovely hash brown, and tomates and mushroom.Breakfast partner enjoyed their full English as well. It was quiet, and fairly empty but it is large and there was a good turnover of guests while we were in.The service was good, the staff were helpful and polite. The venue is lovely, a really nice place for breakfast or lunch in a lovely location.Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian options, they were happy to modify the veggie breakfast to vegan. Although they still sent the toast with butter, but it was wrapped so could be removed.

We booked a table in advance for 2:30pm. Upon arrival the restaurant was not ready to serve customers for cream tea as they were still serving lunch. We were eventually shown to a table at 3:20pm, unfortunately this table was in the far corner of the marquee which was not wheelchair accessible even though this had been stated on the booking and was clearly visible upon greeting us. Another 10 mins went by before we were shown to a table which was slightly more accessible however I use the term accessible very loosely. After sitting at the table we asked for some tap water as there was quite a wait for the cream tea. This took a while to arrive. Another 10 mins passed before we were eventually served with cups of tea, of which they were all served with cows milk even though they had been informed that one member if our party is vegan and allergic to dairy. After this we eventually received our food around an 1 hour and 20 mins after the original booking time. Some of the sandwiches were missing, and the bread tasted stale. The scones looked like they had been bought from a supermarket and microwaved, they were rock solid and slightly warm in the middle. Upon raising these issues with staff, we were greeted with a rather rude attitude from the waiters. They said someone will be over to sort it out, and another 10 mins passed, at this point we raised the issue again to another waiter who was then interrupted by the original waiter who said ‘i’ve told you someone will be on their way’. At this point we spoke to the manager who said ‘what would you like me to do about it’ in a rather rude tone, I then informed him that we would not be staying to finish the food and he tried to charge me 50% of the bill. I stated to him that for the terrible service we had received that he’s already had a £30 deposit and would not be receiving any more. Overall they wanted to charged us £17.50 per person for 6 people for what was a sorry excuse for an afternoon tea. This was really disappointing as it was for my mum’s 50th birthday. Safe to say we will never be attending this venue again.Dietary restrictions: One member of our party was vegan and has a dairy allergy. The restaurant were aware of this, however served her with cows milk with her tea.Wheelchair accessibility: We booked a wheelchair accessible table and were shown to a table in the far corner of the marquee which was anything but wheelchair accessible.
