Pubs • “We ate in the bar area as it was a quiet Thursday. 6 of us ate, 4 shared 2 Chateaubriand as it was on offer at £35 per couple. The starters were OK but the mains were excellent. Service was first class.”
“We visit the Halfway House on a regular basis but last night was for my dad's birthday ?. We had a lovely meal, our servers were Kate and Gee, and nothing was too much trouble for them as they even put a candle into my dad's pudding and sang happy birthday. The food is amazing and the portion size is good. All meat is sourced locally and is good quality produce. There is a good selection of beers and Lager, and also nonalcoholic drinks too.
They always make us feel welcome in this warm and friendly pub. It is also family and dog friendly with pooches bring allowed into the bar area.
