“This is pub food, it doesn't pretend to be anything else, it's also pub food prices and on that basis it's excellent. The barr staff are brilliant.”

“I would not normally visit or rate a wine bar being a real ale drinker but Boothroyd noticed they had one handpump serving Goose Eye Brewery Chinook. For my wine drinking better half it was heaven. Asked for a dry rosé and offered sampler. She was thus very happy and so was Booth and I. Entry via a fire door so we were a little confused as to how to get in,..but you can get there through the well stocked shop. Pleasant airey interior. They offer Spanish tapas style food to go with the large wine selection...and a good Port selection. In the last three weeks we have been to Banbury, Bicester and Bingley. Bingley wins easily. Nice hidden snug behind the bar..home to the accessible toilet.
Wheelchair accessibility: Good access. Accessible toilet to the rear beyond the bar.”

“So the food here at Valentinos is really good but tonight is the 2nd or 3rd time in our past few visits where we have had to send drinks back as they're using flat tonic & coke as their mixers.
They need to be using individual bottles so that you're able to see the spirit in the glass and then add as much "fresh" mixer as you like - but the drinks arrive already done with half melted ice and not very presentable at all. Come on Valentinos - up your game, it's letting the restaurant down.”
“Perfect place for an army reunion . Great atmosphere. My only gripe was on my visit there was no access to vegetarian food.”

“What a delight! First time visit. There was 7 of us, and we had a lovely seated area that felt quite private. The food was fab (highly recommend the pie). We checked out the outside area in anticipation of summer. Looks lovely. Will definitely be back.”
