Been there a couple of times while a uni student. Very much a no-frills cafe. Not the best place but certainly not the worst.

Read a lot of reviews online so decided to give this place a shot. Good location just off Great Horton Road. Parking available across the street, double yellows right outside. Small, cosy little diner with around 30 seats for customers. Staff were friendly. Minimal decor, plenty of food and drink options available. We ordered a full English desi breakfast and a chicken melt. Very mediocre food. The wait time wasn’t too long. The full English portion was decent, however didn’t taste that nice. The hash browns were really greasy, did not enjoy them at all. 1 sausage with full English where most other local cafes you can get 2 for the same price. Mushrooms were greasy and bland. The desi breakfast was average, nothing special at all. The coffee was average with the full English. The chicken melt was the only thing worth going for to be honest. Had enough flavour and the cheese was melted properly. All in all it wasn’t as nice as other local coffee shops in Bradford. Average meal, don’t think I’ll be visiting again.

Although the food here is probably the best in Bradford, I DO NOT LIKE BEEN RIPPED OFF! usual order veg pasta red bull and pudding on just eat 11.50. Ordered today over phone and it cost me 11.00, and no red bull, so even when they had no red bull they still asked me to pay for it! FRAUDSTERS! EDIT: phoned the cafe to find out the price of there pasta dishes have gone up and pudding prices too, this is because of the food price increase they say, in truth it's about making more profit for the cafe, TO EXSPENSIVE NOW WILL NOT BE USIMG YOU AGAIN, I'm not a rich person to pay your prices!

Raja sahab, the owner and main chef is a great personality and God gifted taste of food in his hands.Own created biryani is very delicious and nice.Whenever you visit the café 1B, just ask him to make his own created biryani and I'm sure you will enjoy that a lot.

Unfortunately I can't pick no star so hence the one. Ordered food at 11:20am had a one hour waiting time. 12:30 called them, was told the chef was just cooking our omelette & would be with us soon (restaurant been only 5 mins away) called back at 1pm to be told the driver conveniently broke down, which resulted in our food having to be re made!! Its now 13:20 (2 hours after ordering) and our food is still nowhere to be seen. Poor excuses, shocking service. Would not recommend

Too much garam masala in the chick peas otherwise nicely cooked. Paratha is not home made but the issue is with the heat distribution. It comes out soggy in the middle because it's a pastry type paratha that need even heat distribution to cook it throughout.The apple crumble and custard needs to be either separate or equally heated to be piping hot throughout. Unfortunately the heat does not permeate equally when both items apple crumble and custard are heated together in one container.Apart from this the price is fair and I will be returning to try other things on the menu. Stay tuned!
