We ordered the Burger with no name came with smash beef patty and stirred fried donner on top with side of chips was filling and delicious. You can opt to have it spicy which was very nice.
Chicken El Dardo comes in a creamy mushroom sauce, and an option for sides, the mash was a very nice combination.
The kids meals was a good potion size and have more option than most restaurants.
The mocktails were a good size and very refreshing. Lovely staff come and check on you :)

My family and I visited on Saturday and really enjoyed the food and atmosphere. The decor inside is beautiful and elegant. The dining experience is lovely and the food was beautiful. This was our second time visiting and hopefully we’ll be back soon. We encountered a couple of issues with the food we’d ordered but this was quickly rectified and the staff couldn’t stop apologising and making sure things were quickly put right. We were also offered tea on the house which was a lovely gesture. - Ebtissam and Abdullah served us and they were so friendly, smiley and showed great customer service. Thank you guys!

Stopped off whilst traveling home, The pub was very busy for mid week but that was nice to see. Locals were friendly and the pub had an overall very nice atmosphere. Dog friendly with a dog menu! We ordered food for us (and the dogs), arrived quickly and it was really nice. Shame it's not nearer to home as would be a regular visitor.

This is the 2nd time we have been and just as enjoyable as the first time. The owner is lovely and remembered us from the first time we went, even though several months have passed. Very welcoming, very attentive and accomodating. This time we had the Sunday lunch (two courses), the portion sizes are plentiful and the food was well seasoned and piping hot. We were not rushed and had the table for a few hours, with drinks flowing. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back again. Thank you so much for a lovely Sunday evening. ????????

The restaurant is very nice looking, has a bar which serves alcohol and soft drinks,

The manager/owner is very easy to talk too and was very welcoming when we arrived
I would say if your looking for a hidden gem in bradford then you need to give this place a try, we had murgh pakoras, tandoori murgh starters and they was freshly cooked and tasted delicious for our main we tried lucys special (WOW) what an absolute beautiful curry this was, chips was nice and the aloo naan was fresh too

Overall 10/10 for the full meal and will definitely be coming back very soon

Decently priced and as we was leaving we noticed they had an early bird menu if your eating on a budget

Called while passing through the area.
Impressive range of halwa, jalebis and other Asian sweets, ice cream and sundaes. I think I saw some interesting-looking cheesecakes too.
We had a falooda, and a waffle cone with banana swirl ice cream. Both delicious and not too expensive. Friendly service by Sufian who told us everything in the counters is made in house.
The only criticism would be that the ice cream looked like someone had gone a bit over the top with food colouring, but it didn't detract from the flavours or enjoyment.

On a whim, we booked my step daughter's 18th here in late October. As well as the pub being excellently decorated for Halloween, the staff (especially Becky & Jamie) went above and beyond to dec the pub out for her 18th. They made a shy teen feel center of attention without being overwhelmed. All our guests said the food was good and the service was excellent.
I can't say enough about how well they treated us, 100% recommend, we'll definitely be returning.

We had a fantastic meal last night. It is my favourite restaurant in the North, an outstanding selection of steak and extremely knowledgeable, friendly and helpful staff that makes you want to come back. The atmosphere and the restaurant in itself is warm, welcoming with a tasteful decoration that can’t be found anywhere else. I appreciated the dry flowers arrangement.
I usually go for the surf and turf or wagyu steaks, miso lamb chops, chocolate fondant but last night we decided to finally try the Mid-Week special. It is a short set menu selection at an affordable price that changes every week and is only available on Wednesday and Thursday.
We had the lamb pie, the dry aged steak, truffle mac and cheese side, mushroom side, strawberries mojito and cola. The lamb pie was flavourful with a great kick, it is the perfect dish to start autumn season. They will cut and serve it for you in front of you. It is enough for 2. The steak was perfect too. All of the sides were delicious.
I finally found a cheesecake with its compote and ice cream that tasted like a real traditional cheesecake and not a frozen one.
The restaurant seems to be wheelchairs accessible and there are plenty of parking on the side street.
Thank you again to our two servers that were patient, generous and helpful with us and our son. They are a great reflection of what a high class restaurant should look like.

What a wonderful experience start to finish.. for my elderly mother’s birthday we came for Sunday lunchtime (mixed grill and some mains). Having been born and brought up in Bradford and with parents living here since the late 70s early 80s this restaurant has always had a reputation as one of Bradfords original and best curry houses and to this day it maintains its core values passed down from generation to generation. It was a pleasure to meet Head Chef Waqar - whose hard work and strong family ties have maintained the highest of standards. From lovely warm greetings, attentive, courteous and caring staff, lightening fast service (very appreciated when you have a hungry 3 year old) and the lovely nostalgic decor I was honestly so impressed. What’s really evident is the pride that is taken in catering to all people and you can tell by looking around this restaurant that everyone feels at home - young, old, people from all walks of life and clearly many long time customers who have made this restaurant like their own kitchen and dining room. Waqar (Head Chef) has recently been awarded the prestigious Chef of the Year award and was ever present to oversee and talk about his food and culinary journey. We had mixed grill, rice, beautiful daal and a lovely prawn & spinach curry which are all highly recommended.. my daughter absolutely loved the food. To end the lunch we had a lovely candlelit cheesecake which made my mum feel wonderful. Talking to Chef Waqar I realised his roots in this city run so deep we know many of the same people through schools and cricket clubs we have been involved with… Folks.. places like this represent the REAL BRADFORD… THE CULTURAL PULSE that makes your Heart melt and Tastebuds tingle.. We have just returned home after sampling our alternative Christmas meal at Nawaab. Such a great atmosphere, all the staff smiling and interacting with the patrons. The choice of 4 courses was extensive and served piping hot. Delicious and fresh starters and mains. We were too full to sample desserts. Our total bill for poppadoms and pickles, Fish Masala, Aloo tikka startes, then main courses Lamb palak and Nawaab lamb with the lightest of naan bread, a bottle of wine and a large Cobra beer was £102. Excellent ? family business run for last 25 years and still going strong. Alhamdulliah.
However I was upset about the review one YouTuber gave of 5.8. These guys don't need reviews from YouTubers they have a stable base of regular customers which come to them on a regular basis.
Also they serve the community which is very good as the prices are just right for the roti and naan and the Currys especially if your on a budget and as the rate of inflation and cost of living these guys are doing really well. May Allah SWT bless you all ameen ❤️

I bought a half-and-half pizza featuring Turkish Delight on one side and an Asian style on the other. The sauce on the Turkish delight is always immaculate, enhancing the overall flavor profile and tying the donner together nicely. The pizza was also piping hot when I picked it up adding to the experience. This place is always collection for me which is what I would also recommend to others rather than delivery. Eating right out of the box when it’s piping hot hits differently!

The Turkish Delight side was well-balanced and flavorful, while the Asian style could have used a few more toppings to really bring out its potential. However, the pizza was cooked to perfection, with a crust that was just right—not too thin or thick, providing a nice balance. The garlic mayo and chilli sauce given also enhanced the pizza taste, not like others who water down their sauces!

I also have to commend the service I received from the lady in the call center who took my order; she was friendly and knowledgeable which added an extra touch.Overall, a delicious and well made pizza that I would definitely recommend!

Visited Al-Shakoor which is located on Leeds Road. There is on street parking available and bus service with a 5min walk. Visiting from Scotland we were treated here by friends. The ambience is great. The food took a while to come out and I noticed others coming in after us were getting served their food whilst we were waiting. Once the food came it was great. Everything tasted fresh and portions were generous. Food was full of flavour and I would definitely revisit!

This review is super long over due!!! I visited this tiny little place a few months ago as we were traveling in the area. I must say I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and the drinks. I had falafel wrap and pomegranate juice. I was afraid the juice might be extra tangy but it was one of the nicest drinks I had. The wrap tasted fresh and just the perfect side. You should definitely give it a shot!

I believe that customer service is just as important as the food and she was definitely as great as the food!

A really nice place to eat. Would recommend, and would also recommend booking too as it got really busy whilst we were there. Food was a reasonable price and 3 out of the 4 in our party really enjoyed the food. Unfortunately the seafood pasta wasn't very diverse with seafood and was predominantly mussels.

That, and the fact that the menu is pretty extensive and a bit overbearing was the reason I dropped a star. But these could both be considered subjective to be fair.
