Food was really tasty and the staff were really nice however I come home to food poisoning and was up all night with crippling stomach pains so were 2 other members of our party.Unfortunately I can't speak for what went wrong in the kitchen as it is a lovely looking place the food was tasty like I said and the people were friendly so really disappointing to go home with such an awful weekend recovery from the aftermath.

Well worth booking this place and giving it a try, you will be surprised by the place.Excellent service and it has a very good ambience about it, we sat upstairs and the service and food choice were fantastic, yes you have to pay cash and hopefully this will be sorted, I guarantee you will not be disappointed, this restaurant is has good if not better than any of the top restaurants in the area and we have some good ones. I booked here for my birthday celebrations and we had a fantastic time here! I couldn’t have wished for better! 19 of us were accommodated. No pre ordering which was incredible. The food was delicious, service was excellent and the atmosphere was fabulous! Would highly recommend, thank you so much to all the chefs and waiting staff…. You were amazing!!!

First time - wanted to try the restaurant for ages. Firstly - do not accept card payments. This dampened the experience as we were limited on what we could have as we only had a bit of cash not £200 if we did 3 courses. It was a special celebration too. They Offered only the main menu, no set menu. Maybe this was because it was a weekend. Drinks are very expensive - £5 for a large soft drink. Our party ordered mains only - due to the price which I would compare with Leeds city centre prices. When the amounts of food on different dishes varies, and the more expensive dish has less food on the plate - it makes you wonder - when they accept cash only. However, The food was delicious and freshly made, the staff were all lovely, attentive and friendly. I would go again, but only when there is a special offer menu available.

Came last night with family for my birthday.I wanted Carbonara the traditional way, the chef did attempt it but failed miserably haha. I didn't really want anything else and the owner came up with a carbonara he personally made for me. It was close to traditional but still not right,it was still tasty but please, NO CORIANDER haha.The owner couldnt do enough for us. He made the effort and I couldn't ask for more from him.My family's food looked nice and my calamari starter was good and not chewy, they could have been drained abit more but overall it was nice.I'll come back and try other things on the menu when I'm not feeling picky haha. Thankyou ma friend.

Our first visit whilst visiting Shipley. The food was amazingly good. Generous sized portions. We chose from the two course special for £17.95 each and really enjoyed our meal. Mussels and Whitebait for starters and then chicken in tomato sauce and chicken stroganoff. We were told that the chef is new and he had worked with Jamie Oliver for two years.Really highly recommended. Thank you
