This restaurant has been recently refurbished and has a family vibe. The food is freshly made, and that is largely due to the new chef. The Chef is an authentic Indian Chef who brings a unique cooking experience, coupled with a splendid combination of Indian spices, and literally brings to your table the fusion of Indian street food. The staff are very friendly and try to create a homely atmosphere. I would definitely recommend this restaurant, if you want to bring to your table the Indian street food experience. Well done Mira and Deep.Vegetarian options: lots to choose from.

Came across Gujarati Kitchen through google search. Glad to have found a vegetarian place so quickly. Firstly, I was sold by the elegant and minimalistic decor of the tiny place ?We ordered a Bombay Sandwich which was 10/10. It was a combination of multiple flavours and rightly warmed up. Chutney was ?? Bit overpriced at £6Vada Pav- it was too cold and dry. Couldn’t eat more than a bite 0/10. £3.5Batata Vada- too good. 10/10 £0.8Tea, it came with a small cookie 10/10. We have not had such a amazing tea in the UK before ? £1.9 (i guess)Lastly, presentation was very impressive. I was in awe of it ?We bought some thepla as a take away and that too was very yummy. Superb is the word for it. £3I felt some items are overly priced like Masala Dosa and other south indian dishes. One can have a full thali instead of just a dosa of £9+Also, I wish there was a washroom. For people traveling from far away.In a nut shell, this is a must visit place. A beautiful ambiance for a family or friends get together. You wont be left unimpressed ?

Myself and 3 friends traveled from London to Todmorden in Yorkshire for a business appointment 29/12/23, after finish we decided to Google for Vegetarian Restaurant, about 3 or so came up out of which we decided to choose Gujrat Kitchen in Bradford, on arrival at the restaurant we was miserably welcomed by Asian Waitresses/Owner?We asked if we could have lunch, the answer was yes, we then seated ourselves and asked for Menu as it was not on the table, we was given 4 Paper Menu’s copy’s which were disgustingly stained with curry marks,I told the waitress about it and she replied oh sorry? Two of my friends didn’t want order coz of Hygiene look of the menu put them off.Two of us ordered Thali’s, as we awaited for food I requested to use the Loo to my surprise I was told no loo for Customers?I pleaded with the lady that it’s heavily raining outside we don’t know nearst place to find the loo so please help she replied no sorry can’t let us use staff loo?Food arrived after 20 minutes or so? I had requested water at the time of ordering the food which didn’t arrive before or with food, so I asked again and the lady brought me bottle water which was from the fridge,I asked her it’s too cold can I have room temperature bottle please, she replied they don’t have it?I requested tape water instead, the waitress said we don’t serve tap water to customers?Unbelievable I said how can you say that?No that’s the rule she replied?Obviously that’s first and last time ever at Gujrat Kitchen? The taste of food was awful ?Myself and friends would never recommend this awful Gujrat Kitchen Restaurant? Please stay away from unhygienic Restaurant?

I recently dined at this restaurant, and I must say I had a terrible experience. The food service was extremely unhygienic, and it left me with serious concerns about the quality and safety of the dishes. To make matters worse, when I raised my concerns with the staff, they refused to provide a refund or even an apology. I would strongly advise against dining here if you value your health and expect reasonable customer service.

Used to be decent but customer service is non existent and they have a tendency to overcharge. Better alternatives across the city.
