Solid, good down to earth pub. Good atmosphere and beers. Adequate food ( don't bring a first date for a meal, or it's likely to be a last date). Proper pub, which is unfortunately part of a dying breed.

It's in the top 5 of Bradfords proper town centre drinking pubs. A real real-ale haven and I ranked the food 5 stars because IT WAS FREE tonight (it was the stew that accompanied the pies, which had all gone).You can't go wrong here, especially when it's busy and there's a good atmosphere.
