Note to self, don't order takeout on a whim after a glass of wine. It was a waste of money and gave me and my partner gut rot for 2 days (I'm still in bed) Unfortunately, the staff at Spice Hut in Low Moor know me and greet me warmly on each visit, but maybe they greet everyone this way glad to have the custom, seriously what do they do to their food. Hygiene rating aside, what kind of food leaves you running to the loo for two days??? Fair enough, it's cheaper than eating out, but costly if detrimental to one's health. Chicken tikka Karachi, roti King Prawns and spinach with naan Both came with chapatti and there was no way of ordering without them. Pilau rice and mixed grill starter £26 Should have saved my cash and had beans on toast

(CLECHEATON CURRY CLUB)...I was recommended to the spice hut by family and friends who enjoyed the food from here.Recently just moved to oakenshaw of course on 3 occasions I tried....1st occasion Tikka chicken medium and pillau rice.. shammy and sheikh....,Blown out of the water. The wife got mixed starter enough for me and my lad to finish the day after.Nice quality and not tough...Second occasion. Chicken curry medium and prawns.........Shammy and sheikh....Beautiful but leaked the packaging looked like a oil spill.. .But still food amazing...3rd. Chicken and prawns curry....shammy...There is no 5 star purely because spillage that was obvious to delivery driver....THE SPICE HUT I feel is a quality establishment delivering good quality food and have recommended to my curry club members to try between ourselfs we have 160 yrs in appreciation of a good curry.Iam certain there appreciated comments may follow.SPICE HUT pray keep the quality you adhere two.Kind regards Ian Green. That good half way through eating I just had to put my cutlery down and leave a review.( Not usually me) ..chicken so tender, bursting with flavour...a PROPER curry...salad so fresh and crispy plenty of it ... the food was HOT stayed hot whilst eating...I am very impressed...will definitely be my new go to now..!!! If you haven't tried it or thinking of trying believe me you won't be disappointed!!!

Used spice hut twice recently after giving them a wide berth for a few years. Delivery was fast which did make me doubt the food quality and freshness but both times food was fresh, hot and delicious. Thoroughly enjoyed by the whole family
