One of the rare occasions I leave a review. Service was great, the lady serving me was lovely. I ordered a foot-long meatball marina to take home. Few of the meatballs were burnt. The remaining were inedible because it smelled funky and tasted rotten. Pretty sure they just reused old ones. With everything said, I wouldn't recommend the store.

Excellent service this afternoon at Five Lane Ends. Dont often have subways but asked for the old sandwich I used to get (Chicken Pizziola) which is now obsolete. Young girl who served me with blonde hair - very helpful and made it anyway for me and put it through as Deli Meats with Chicken. Great service and attitude throughout.

I was served by a lovely young lady called Charlotte or Charlie (I can’t remember). She said she was recently new to the store, but she was amazing! I struggle with my speech due to a disability and she was extremely patient and she showed no judgment to me at all. She was chatty and overall a credit to the team there. The food was lovely and fresh tasting and I was not rushed while being served.

Went into the Subway at Idle. Was made to wait 5mins while the staff member finished a delivery order. Whilst the staff member was preparing the order, I observed she used the same gloves to put the meat on the sub and then proceeded to touch the salad. She did this twice in front of me = CROSS-CONTAMINATION. I proceeded to walk out as I could not bare this and was called back by a friendly member of the public that the staff member was ready. I decided I would tell her that I was walking out not due to the wait but the gross cross-contamination that was going on and explained what I’d observed. Her response was a blunt… I’ve not… I’ve touched the meat with one glove and the salad with the other. Not what I had observed. Subway should have higher standards!

I have just ordered two 6” sandwich on brown rolls. We were going to have them for our dinner. The bread was incredibly tough/hard and obviously well past its best. Subway why do you do this to your customers throw old bread away. Please do not respond by saying it was not possibly hard bread. We know what fresh rolls taste like and they were totally not able to chew them. The salad in side was fresh but that’s little consolation if you wanted it in a nice fresh roll. Complain if you too suffer this service it the only way to stop them doing it.
