From the outside this looks like a Greek temple, attended(!) car park and spacious well laid out dining. Food is buffet, great choices of veggie and a range of meat. Starters are great with salad options. Would have been better for all the dips to be named but everything else is clearly marked and if it veggie. All you can eat is always tempting but the warning that you may be charged if you leave an excessive amount is fair and politely made. Desserts a food range of Indian and other with plenty of ice cream varieties. Toilets are spotless and spacious but back kitchen is not perfect. We went as we had driven past it many times and popped in on the off chance of a table, we will be going back

What a wonderful time I had with family member over the years, the restaurant was up to scratch the food and service was very good and the price was right it's a shame that you have closed now, hope to find another place like this again thank you Akassh restaurant.

I decided to stop here for a family meal before heading home - regret it. When I parked up, the car park attendant could see I was pushing my son in his wheelchair, but didn't say anything about access as I assumed there would be access at the front when I get up to the main road from the car park, but there was no ramp. I went back to the car park attendant and he said 'oh I thought you didn't need access as your son would be able to walk up the steps.' He radio'd colleagues to get the ramps out and they helped me push my son up the steep ramp into the restaurant. Was met by one of the greeters and he instructed the one of the waiters to show me to the table but didn't ask me to follow him... I think I must have to pay people to smile or they're being forced to work! No one explained how the buffet system works until I asked someone. Paid at the end (in cash as the 'machine is broke') but certainly won't be coming back there again. The atmosphere was wet and miserable like the dreary Yorkshire autumn rain outside. Food wasn't that great either.Wheelchair accessibility: It's a Grade II listed building so there's no solid ramps or lifts. They do have these carry ramps to provide access into the building but God help you if you're on your own.

Takeaway treat! What a waste of money, I would have been better throwing my money down the drain! Tasteless, cold inedible food. Make no wonder they are closing down, they want shutting down serving food like that. If I could give no stars at all that would be better. Anyone thinking of ordering a takeaway don’t waste your money absolutely terrible.

Food was late, stone cold and half the order was missing, wish I hadn't bothered. When I called, the woman didn't seem to know what she was doing ,she didn't apologise, just kept repeating how busy they were and id have to call back tomorrow to get a refund

Their food is to die for!!!! This is probably my fave curry place. Brilliant service. Treat with respect. They clear empty plates immediately for you to get ready to grab another plateful. Beautiful building.

This was my second time experiencing this place with my cousins coming from America.Again my First Impression was that it was very Beautiful inside and they have a large selection of food. I just wish they had more appetizers but overall the food was very delicious and the service was very good. The Venue looks very Beautiful too.I would recommend anyone that want to try a good decent buffet place to try this out if you like because I've been there twice now and I will go again just hoping next time they have a bit more appetising selections.Thank You!?✌️

I really enjoyed this place and the total experience.Safe free parking with ample spaces under security supervision.Unlimited food for a set price and very affordable.A good choice of starters, main courses, even desserts if you have the room. It's more of a family place or good for group social events where there's something for everyone. Not the very finest India/Pakistani food I've had but without doubt a great place to eat in a group. No alcohol in there but I was fine with that as there are lots of children about and with large groups of men and ladies, so no alcohol prevents any misbehaviour. Soft drinks are readily available and very reasonable in price.I will go again for sure, nice friendly staff were at hand.

£20 for adults .& £20 pounds for children 9 years old and over. Cold food they hide the lamb chops by the curry's.you have to ask for them.6 adults 5 children. 2 jugs of Pepsi the bill came to £220 pounds. Cold tasteless food very little choice.DONT WASTE YOUR HARD ERREND MONEY HERE.

Nothing special. The food choices are limited and run of the mill. There was no wow factor in taste or presentation of the food. They can get so many things right with a little bit of effort. Not distasteful but certainly below average product for the charges. I would pay more than £10 per person for the buffet style selections

Nice food, surprisingly better than some Indian restaurants. No alcohol so we called for a drink beforehand but would have been nice to have a drink with our food. Please please do better on the desserts…after something spicy sometimes you just want a bit of chocolate.

Booked for Sunday 3rd July and booked for a large group and on coming was seated by the obnoxious and rude Shoaib right by the plate and cutlery stand and table right at the end by the toilets when objected told should have told where you wanted the table depite quite a few empty was told they were booked and then said did not want a petty argument and I pointed out we were as far away as possible from the Buffet and was told we could leave ! Food was mediocre tonight, service desirable but not surprised with clowns like Shoaib running the restaurant. We were moved eventually to the front but it had already spoilt our evening! I will not be visiting again if that is how customers are treated

Honest-opinions-ok

It's all very nice, in particular the tandoori lamb chops which are restricted to 6 per visit to the counter (rightly so or they all go at once!)
