Tappino's

Tapas isn’t really my thing, but I spent an evening at Tappino’s with some friends recently and had a great time. Once we’d got to grips with the menu, with the help of a member of staff, we all really enjoyed our meals. Drinks choice was good too. The decor was cool and cosy, and staff were friendly.

Amazing food, amazing service! We visited Dynasty for my son’s 2nd Birthday, it was such a pleasant experience and the staff went that extra mile to ensure we were all relaxed and enjoying ourselves (including the children). When I booked the table I mentioned briefly it was going to be my son’s birthday, to our SURPRISE we were welcomed to the table decorated (birthday banners, balloon) which my children LOVED!The food was amazing and delicious, the best cha siu baus/buns in the UK!10/10 would definitely visit here again and recommended to all friends and family ✨

Wok Ever Palace

Fantastic meal for our son's 12th birthday. Wok Ever Palace never disappoints, and sure enough, tonight was another example of this.Three of us ordered the spare ribs for a starter (with various sauces), and I had the salt and pepper fish. All very generous and flavoursome portions.Main courses were equally good: chicken satay; duck with ginger; roast pork sichuan; chicken with OK sauce. The adults polished off all of their food, but the kids had a little left over to take home, not because they didn't like it, on the contrary, they loved the food, but they're at the age where one main to share is not enough, and a main each is a little too much. However, it will be a little treat for later in the week!Service was also excellent from start to finish, very friendly, helpful and accommodating, despite the restaurant being fairly full.Always a pleasure to visit here, we gave our son the choice of where to go for his birthday meal, and it was an excellent choice, enjoyed by all!Thanks to all of the staff for a great evening.

Heathfield Farm - Dining & Carvery

I have not been in here for a while and I wished I had not bothered my wife got fish and chips with mushy peas and I ordered a couple of slices of bread and butter my wife said her fish tasted earthy and most of the chips were dried out and hard as for the bread it was rock hard don't know where they got it from they did offer to replace it but we had a refund instead. Now my meal I ordered chicken tikka masala with half rice and half chips with mango chutney naam bread never got my mango chutney naam bread was like a piece of dried up cardboard which I complained about and they replaced it straight away as for the chips they were dried out and hard. I don't think we will be going back there again just total garbage just wish I had gone to the chippy up the road food cooked to order not like heathfield farm absolutely rubbish.

The New Packhorse

We were out with our grandson walking and called in. The pub itself is warm and welcoming. We sat in the back room which looks onto the beer garden, it was quieter so he could run about without disturbing others in the main bar. I can not recommend the burgers enough!!! They are absolutely delicious ? and such good value for money. Onion rings are home made and the burgers are from a local butcher. Banging pint too at really good prices. There was absolutely nothing to complain about. The staff are friendly, attentive and can't do enough for you. To top it off well behaved dogs are welcome too. Really looking forward to going back and trying some other dishes.

Very good pizza banging burger loved all of it it took abit to arrive but it was made fresh with top quailty ingredients i loved the pizzas aswell Balti chicken is a must

Nosh Inn

Had to mark it down on food. I usually get burger chips and pakoras. Most of the time it's really nice but if you get food after like 9.30/10pm/ or certain days you can tell they haven't changed the oil and is down right disgusting, I had to throw away all the chips I bought other night because of this. Burger is amazing, nice and juicy and tasty, one of the best takeaway burgers I've had. I might just get burger and pakora on its own in future as chips are risky. I've heard from my friend that the curries are to die for there. Anyway sorry to the owners, I do really like nosh inn, I just wish they would taste a chip before it goes out?

Always love a Greggs, who doesn't eh? This Greggs is great because not only can you park easily outside but you can sit and eat in. There are four tables so plenty of room.

Defo change,still nice staff, beer great and cheap,Monday club,£2.00 a pint of carling,food brilliant,toilets still need the smell sorting out,in both. Other than that,brilliant pub.

I really don’t know why this place has poor ratings! I’m totally honest with my reviews and I’ve been ordering from here for months!! I have THE best Chinese from here for ages! I’ve had various meals and they are great! Try it for yourself, everyone says different things….. mine are it’s fab!

Happy Garden

Spent £35 and everything arrived piping hot and full of flavour. 2 x large portions of freshly and properly cooked chips, salt and pepper chicken wings that weren't overcooked or overly spicy, a steak English meal and a chicken English meal better than what we've had in local pubs, and a mixed starter which wasn't overcooked or greasy. The prawn toast was the best I've had in a decade. Polite delivery driver too. Thanks for the lovely food and service.

This was the best fish I've ever had. I come from Leeds to get fish and chips from Fletchers and not only are they delicious, the prices are much cheaper than Leeds too.Would recommend highly.

Ordered Pollo di spinaci pasta. Telephone service very efficient and friendly. Delivery was efficient and friendly.Chose penne with mozzarella and parmesan..Oh my goodness was it lovely, it was very tasty well full of flavour and came with couple of slices of delicious garlic bread. Dish so plentiful got a good bit left for tomorrow. Would highly recommend to others .

Lovely polite staff, we spoke about Weston super mare! Great portion for food, proper chicken donner, overall a lovely mixed donner meal. Great pricing too! I'd definitely recommend if you're local to Cleckheaton :)

A lovely greeting by Nic who like Kayleigh & Jen was extremely helpful & welcoming with great service too. The menu was varied with a good choice with value for money too plus delicious, hot tasty food & very enjoyable as well. Very much worth a visit so check out the weekly offers not only on the food but the drinks as well. Keep being amazing & doing the magic ???Kid-friendliness: Great choice for kids

Tarantino + Pizzas

Had some friends over last night and we all decided we wanted kebabs/burgers for tea. A quick search on the Cleckheaton matters group informed me that Tarantino’s was the best option so we ordered from here. We were not disappointed! The food was absolutely outstanding! It was ready in 20 mins, it was hot/fresh and the quality was top drawer. Also the girl who took my order on the phone was very polite and efficient and was the same in person when I collected. Will definitely be recommending to friends/family who are in the area. 5*

Chef Canton

First time visiting Chef Canton after driving past it countless times.Firstly, this place is very busy. The phone is constantly ringing and people coming in and out all the time to place orders which is a great first impression! A few of things to note, it’s cash only, they do local deliveries but are not on any delivery apps such as JustEat etc. The lady at the front was really polite and attentive.As we’d never been before we were a bit overwhelmed with the extensive menu (which I’ve added to the photos.) we decided to give the salt & pepper box a try with some egg fried rice and shredded beef with Cantonese sauce.The food was actually really tasty and full of flavour. The salt & pepper box gives you a taste of all of salt & pepper options available singularly.The pricing is very good for the portion sizes, we’ll definitely be coming here again! Can’t wait to try more things on the menu.

Good food. Great service. Only criticism is that it's a bit pricey for somewhere like Cleckheaton. If it was Leeds, then fair enough. I'd still consider going there again though.

Great pub...... superb food..... and top top quality service.......And the icing on the cake was being able to order in advance while I was over 100 miles away on the M1 ... they kept it piping hot even though they had already closed the kitchen...... can't praise them enough for that

A lovely little Cafe, nicely decorated, the staff were lovely. I had a Lovely fresh BLT sandwich to take away and at £5 for that and a can I couldn't complain it's the sort of value for money that's increasingly rare these days.

The Obediah Brooke - JD Wetherspoon

This was my first visit to this particular Wetherspoons. It was cosy, warm, and welcoming. The range of drinks is great, with many traditional handpulled beers, stouts at very reasonable prices, and by far, cheaper than most local pubs. Unlimited free top ups on coffee etc. Needless to say, it was busy but didn't have to wait around to be served. It was like a community hub that obviously attracts many local people to meet up. We spent an hour or so there and arrived well before lunchtime. It was clean and all the staff were friendly. Food arrived and was hot and served on warm plates too.I have always had a good experience at the Wetherspoons that I have visited, and this was a great example of somewhere to eat and drink cheaply, keep warm, chat, and enjoy some social time. Well deserved 5 stars.Well done, Wetherspoons.
