I’ve come from a long line of family Chinese takeaway background so I know a decent Chinese when I get one.We ordered starters mainlyChicken and sweetcorn soup was just OKDuck with pancakes was OKPrawn toast was over cookedThe two lots of salt and pepper ribs was over cooked and dry in fact inedible.So disappointed.We won’t be coming back.

First time visiting Chef Canton after driving past it countless times.Firstly, this place is very busy. The phone is constantly ringing and people coming in and out all the time to place orders which is a great first impression! A few of things to note, it’s cash only, they do local deliveries but are not on any delivery apps such as JustEat etc. The lady at the front was really polite and attentive.As we’d never been before we were a bit overwhelmed with the extensive menu (which I’ve added to the photos.) we decided to give the salt & pepper box a try with some egg fried rice and shredded beef with Cantonese sauce.The food was actually really tasty and full of flavour. The salt & pepper box gives you a taste of all of salt & pepper options available singularly.The pricing is very good for the portion sizes, we’ll definitely be coming here again! Can’t wait to try more things on the menu.

Thought I'd try a different place tonight to my regular one . Honestly I will never go back chips was burnt and the sauce I had with my meal was just salty I had to leave

Been a regular customer for over a DECADE, they are used to my picky ordering that of no mushrooms is this, no prawns in that and gravy instead of sweet and sour.Once in ten plus years did they make a mistake and that was not bring 1.5ltr of coke, which they corrected in 15 mins.
