Went to celebrate granddaughter's birthday 9 of us booked for 7pm. We were told meals were running upto 45mins late. Got starters at 8.05pm, then main meals. Asked at 8.55pm if we wanted desserts & said yes. Went to bar to order, 2 people in front of me & at my turn was told we could not have any except for the 1 from the kids menu that had already been paid for. The other 8 of us could not have any despite them being cold desserts we were going to order as it was after 9pm & they were taking no more orders for food. No one explained this to us when they said meals were running late & no signs anywhere to say no orders after 9pm. The place does not shut until 11pm. Other diners had 2 hours grace to have their meals, we hah had 55 minutes!!! My husband & I were livid & disappointed the evening was spoilt through no fault of ours. We have been frequently in the past for meals. Unfortunately we shall not be returning or recommending this place any more. The staff attending to our complaint couldn't have cared less & we left very disappointed.

Unfortunately this was awful. Had to wait an hour for starter, then my son's didn't come and had to wait fifteen more minutes. Radiator next to our table was sticky with beer and it was splashed all up the wall, which was not recent. When the main courses eventually arrived both were cold... Pitiful. Sorry.

Booked here for the all you can eat breakfast which is a good price as the kids eat free however they decided to finish breakfast as we sat down despite us paying for it up front. A lot of the food had gone and they weren't going to replenish it had we not asked. I wanted to go back for a little more but by this time all the food had been removed so it wasn't quite as unlimited as it seemed.The food itself wasn't fantastic and although it was cooked through, I felt like it needed a few more minutes cooking for my liking.The quality of the food is what you'd expect from a place like this, so so.The staff were pleasant.I wouldn't go back unfortunately.

Took my kids and father in law here my partners plate was taken while he still had a mouthful of food some of the servers were amazing an lovely to talk to my daughter also couldn’t take her full meal with her as no boxes or clingfil for her to do so we knew it wouldn’t be the best as it’s Xmas eve but I’m not happy at all with

Super strange, seems a nice place, was there half an hour all the staff were talking about was bad and embarrassing the breakfast service was, then asked if I was planning on eating. I was until the point clearly a regular walked in got his pint turned round and everyone could see he had blood all over the back of his jumper. Nobody said a word

The manager was abrupt, rude , arrogant disrespectful. Was left waiting for food. Pre-ordered and had to change order. Service was shocking, the food was cold. Toilet facilities disgusting. Had to go to the bar because the coffee machine was not working. No floor staff. Staff members too busy on their phone instead of helping customers. The worst establishment I have ever dined at. There isn’t any customer service andI hope this gets sorted.

Just had Christmas dinner here and the majority of the staff are brilliant but the person that serves the carvery is very ignorant and inconsiderate. Whilst waiting to be served at the carvery the lady serving was in conversation with a lady at the other side of the food counter and completely ignored what she was supposed to be doing, not once but twice, and it's not the first time this has happened. If she doesn't like working with the public maybe she needs a change of career.

We went for Christmas Dinner yesterday and will be booking somewhere else next year. No Christmas spirit and the staff did not have a clue. There was only one lady that stood out and she was the one checking tables were OK. We were booked for 12pm and had to wait whilst glasses of proseco were poured at the door which caused a queue of people waiting to be seated They were not prepared at all and there was no alternative for non drinkers. Bar staff were so slow and couldn't even find the gin. The staters were OK but have been better in previous years. The carvery did not have much choice of veg....the sprouts were so hard you could gey your fork in. They run out of turkey and despite the carver asked for new turkey there was a five minute wait for them to bring out another. My daughter had ordered salmon and this took 45 mins to come out despite being told it would be a couple of mins. Table was still dirty from breakfast also. Overall a terrible experience for Christmas Dinner and despite going in previous years we will not be booking for next year. Just felt like there was no communication between staff and I know they would rather be at home with families but they all had zero Christmas spirit!!

I do not expect to stand in a queue to order my food. The queue was quite long and I had to wait about 15 minutes to get served. The food was average but very poorly presented. My partner had a burger which was lukewarm warm and greasy. The chips were cold. I ordered a sweet for my partner which took about 30 minutes to arrive but at least was the best part of her meal. I would not recommend this restaurant.
The food was fine. A good experience for the reasonable pricing. We will happily go there again.

Came here as a party of four for pre Xmas breakfast. As it was during the week and quiet it was cooked to order. We all had different breakfast but it was all cold. Some one asked if it was all OK in which we replied it was cold. He said he could re do our order but as we had already eaten some it would have been too much. How can cooked to order be cold?

Called tonight for a meal with the wife.Was booking the car in while we were doing this some member of staff shouted over the bar have you booked we said no as we hadn't. The member of staff over the bar said we are not taking walk in orders as its to busy. (No trouble before) Totally ignorant how this was done.No thought of how far we had traveled just a shouty female.We we're disgusted and won't return to be treat like that.

Exactly what you would expect from a Brewers Fayre. Food was nice although was cold. We had a carvery, so unsure how long the food had been out, but to be fair they heated them up in the microwave when asked. Quality of meat was really good.
