I have started using this Wetherspoon PH as I used to meet my ex work colleague’s at Starbucks. However Starbucks is becoming more and more expensive and although I could afford too I just think that for the price of a couple of Latte’s I can have a breakfast and a bottomless Latte at Wetherspoons. Ok the Latte is from a machine but to be honest a Latte at anyplace is little more than a very milky weak coffee anyway. The other advantage is that there is 4 hours parking over the road whereas only 2 at Starbucks (although if you give your registration number to Starbucks they will extend it). I had a great 3 hour catch up, breakfast and several Latte’s for about £7.50 which is half what I would have spent at Starbucks. Ok the clientele might not be as good but we had no problems at allVegetarian options: My colleague had the vegetarian breakfast which said was good although the sausage was a little tasteless.Parking: Thee is a council car park across the main road which has free 4 hour parking. There is a light controlled crossing directly opposite the front entrance to The Obadiah Brooke entranceKid-friendliness: There no children when we first arrived but later, towards dinner time some kids did turn up with parents. All well behaved.Wheelchair accessibility: The building entrance is on the ground floor and has good wheelchair access. The toilets are on the first floor however there is a lift with wheelchair access to it.

One of the better Whetherspoons I’ve experienced. A great atmosphere, with great staff, great food, and great prices. When in Cleckheaton for training I’ve been here on many evenings for food and drinks. There’s always a good crowd in from all backgrounds. The prices are weird such as £2.31 a pint etc, but just shows how low they try to keep them. Personally I’d rather they rounded them up so less coppers kicking about!Food served quickly and also really competitively priced. I got the 3 plates for less than £15 and they’d definitely be enough to share. The spicy pizza was very good, as were the loaded fries, and the chicken strips. Literally couldn’t eat it all.The front beer garden is also ideally located and great for sunsets.

It’s not even worth the one star absolutely vile food it was the most horrendous meal I’ve eaten. I asked for a refund they said no they wouldn’t give me my money back. The staff are rude and have no customer services skills we wouldn’t recommend at all ????

I come here first thing on a morning for coffee refills, the staff are friendly, BUT, the tables are FILTHY, I have yet to go in at 8am and find a table that your arms do not stick to the surfaces, they NEVER get wiped down and this morning I can smell the dirt on them, similar to urine, very very poor hygiene, disgustingly unclean, the tables need a good scrub, cmon Wetherspoons I know your busy but your hygiene is non existent.

Consistently good food and consistently a good time when we go. Quite cheap for the quality of their food and very nice place including historical facts about cleckheaton and the weatherspoons location. I would recommend getting pizza as it is stonebaked and the gourmet steak.

Last week I had fish and chips, it was outstanding. This week however very very poor, the fish was like the cheap frozen fish out of a box from the supermarket. Tasteless.

Aggressive doormen. Constantly watching over you made me feel unwelcome really. 2 children with our party eating & told very abruptly they must be gone by eight. Cheap food but will book somewhere else next time I'm that way. Uncomfortable is an understatement.
