we went on mother’s day and had the set menu.As it was mother’s day they were busy as expected. our food took over a hour to arrive from ordering which was longer than expected but it was the nicest sunday lunch i’ve had in forever!!I hate having a bad roast which 99% of the time they are but this one was amazing!! would deffo recommend and will be going again. Thank you x

Had Sunday lunch here a couple of weeks ago. The food was delicious, the service excellent and there was a lovely atmosphere too.

Lovely small village pub with laid back friendly vibes, so welcoming and the food never disappoints, real home made food and we love that on Sundays we can pick from the main menu as well as the roasts. Always great and always cozyWheelchair accessibility: Accessible for wheelchairs and walkers with an accessible toilet

Amazing place, food always great, atmosphere great, team and owners always welcoming. There is nothing too much trouble. You need to try steak night and Sunday dinners to start, but book early as it fills up fast and the main menu and specials are great too. We always love a visit to The Wheatsheaf.

We’ve visited a few times recently and have not been disappointed anytime we’ve been! We’ve tried the lunch set menu, steak night and the Sunday lunch! If you go for the steak night I strongly recommend the truffle mushroom sauce! Staff have been so friendly and welcoming! And even helped settle our baby whilst we ate! Thank you!

Lovely tapas options in a cosy environment and great beer garden. Lovely staff. Nice for a date night. Only things would change were the pizza, wasn’t nice when we visited, very doughy and seemed like a freezer pizza. There was also a strange smell (a bit like gone off cheese) for the whole visit but I’m sure that was just a one off and not sure what caused it. Would definitely give here another go and would love to visit when one of their themed events are on.

Went for lunch as not been in years the place feels very basic now I’m sad to say. Not welcoming and quite rough around the edges the food was at best average this used to be a fab place to eat definitely not a gastropub. The toilets were grubby and thoipet basin looked like it hadn’t been cleaned properly for years and the sanitary bin was full Sorry but we won’t be returning the social media makes it look great but it isn’t

A varied menu gives plenty of choice. Food is beautifully prepared. Friendly staff for whom nothing was a bother. The seafood platter (for two) can be ordered in advance and is a good mark of the quality of the food.Overall, a highly recommended eatery.

Brilliant food and brilliant service from the team. We’re very lucky to have this as our local pub. ?
