Great old school pub. Tim Taylor's beer, jukebox, pool table, plenty of space. Unfortunately, fuel costs may mean closure, so use it or lose it.

Had a great stay here while attending a local training centre. It’s simply a traditional old school boozer with lots of rooms. The rooms are dated and yes, could be refurbished, but then you simply would be getting it for the price that you do.Single occupancy in an en-suite with towels provided for £30 is decent value. I’d been in a BnB prior to this place, but it was nice to get some privacy. I didn’t get breakfast included as I was out early in the mornings for training.Only had a couple bottles from the bar to take to my room, but they were good and reasonably priced. There’s a decent sized car park to the front too with easy access to the hotel.I’ll be returning and would recommend to others.
