Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, and I'm not the biggest fella but I like a good feed of a morning to set the tone. Well I'd been on the tools since 6:30am with nothing but a doble dolce coffee in me, and to my annoyance I then had to drive from Leeds to Elland to pick something up. An inconvenient trip I thought, until I spotted an inviting little cafe on the corner. My belly had been having a word with me on the way over, chastising me for neglecting it thus far. Well, I thought, I'd better make some amends.I stepped inside. Clean and tidy little shop, nice looking menus with a good variety - maybe one day I'll sample their more exotic delights if the need arises. But I'm a breakfast traditionalist, and a classic bacon and sausage sarnie was calling my name. I placed my order - so far so good. Then I spotted a little extra on the board and my brain immediately sent its electrical impulses down to the aforementioned grumpy tummy. It responded in kind. "Go on" it said, "stick a cheeky hash brown in there." And so I did. The lady at the counter happily obliged, she could see I was serious about this sandwich.Let me tell you, the meats were cooked to perfection, the bread bun was a very decent size and good quality, and the hash brown was the proverbial cherry on top of this celebratory breakfast cake. Nice amount of ketchup applied - not too much to overpower the flavour, just enough to moisten each delicious mouthful.So thank you ladies, it wasn't such an inconvenient trip to your fine town at all. I hope this review makes your day because that sandwich made my morning.

Order from here regularly for our office, always spot on with the order and never any issues considering we order about ten sandwiches each time! We've tried multiple sandwich shops and O'Crumbs has definitely been the best we've had... plus the lady that delivers is always lovely!

I have been ordering hot beef and gravy for a number of weeks now this is my go too sandwich, however when I order my sandwich I am now told that we don't have time to accommodate a hot beef and gravy when this is clearly a sandwich option on the menu. Good butty shop but a shame that they can't keep up with orders.

Recently used o'crumbs as caterers. Can not fault them, really professional. Very friendly, great spread and at a nice cost. Food was really nice and was all eaten by the end. Highly recommended

It's just REALLY GOODThey just do it all so well.... I eat all around Halifax and there's nowhere that touches them.Most places have boring ham Panini's, but these have the likes of spicy chicken, salami, meatballs, mozzarella etc etc and sauces to matchThe meats are super quality... proper tasty sausages, burgers and the likes and they're happy to cook it all any way you like! Even the dreaded 'Rock Hard Egg' is done properly, most shops don't actually make it hard but still squishy...which lands it on your clothes if you're not lucky.The teacakes are first class - there's nothing worse than a rubbish teacake, if that's not right then it doesn't matter what you put in it.And they wrap Paninis in grease proof paper before the paper bag so it doesn't go sweaty or stick to the bag.... and they don't wrap the butty in a serviette, which is then soaked in ketchup etc and rendered useless when removed from the bag.Oh yeah... and nice friendly people serving that don't look at you weird if you ask for anything different!
