Great atmosphere, great service from very friendly staff. The waiter helped with advice on the menu which was very extensive on choices having placed our oder our starters arrived in around 15/20 minutes piping hot and delicious our main course then arrived which also was nice and hot and because it arrived on a cast iron skillet remained hot throughout.All in all a great experience and would definitely go againParking: Lack of disabled parking bays

Ordering the food was easy and the Bar Man asked us how we would like the food cooking and choices of sauces and condiments. We were both amazed by the quality of the food for the price and the prompt service considering the pub was very busy. First time visiting and won't be my last. The interior was bright and cheerful and the staff friendly and helpful. We were there at the height of the lunch rush yet service was of a timely manner and the food couldn't be faulted. There's plenty of parking, step free access for those needing it and they still do a golden years menu which many others have stopped doing so a definite win win all round. ?

Just been for dinner at The Podger to celebrate my dad's birthday. Mum and dad had fish and chips and I had surf and turf. I can really say we weren't disappointed my steak was very tender and tasty. Their fish and chips was so big neither could finish the chips. I only live around the corner and never eaten there before. I definitely will be going again, but this time with my husband.

Love this place! A large group of us were staying at a house nearby and we called the Podger to see if we could get a takeaway for us all. They were SO helpful and friendly, even though they were super busy they made sure all our food was ready for us. Even calling us back to see what sauces we would like to go with our meals. Everything was labelled up for us. They couldn't have been more helpful. The food was excellent! I would totally recommend this pub, they're a great team, this sort of customer service is rare. Superb!
