Very rude old lady who I am told goes by the name jean. Spilt coffee over me and my husband and proceed to pass us blue roll and commented on the situation with a sarcastic “aw”. She then just watched whilst my husband cleaned up her mess on his hands and knees, I assume it’s because she couldn’t be bothered cleaning it later. Finally her and her college who apparently goes my Abdul began laughing and mocking us and refused to offer me a new coffee or refund, the sausage roll we purchased was also raw when my husband bit into it. THIS IS A DISGRACE and I will never return to this shell.

Went to use the car wash earlier today. The guy in the shop was lovely but the car wash was really bad. First it almost took my drivers side mirror off and secondly, all the dirt on the back of the car was still there. Had to re wash it by hand when I got home. Useless ?♂️.

I don’t mind being told no. It’s life sometimes…I enquired as to whether I could be served at the 24 hr hatch as I had my dog with me. Was told to tie him up outside and go in. The chap then continued with his phone call he was on…returned to tell him that the doors were locked, got an eye roll and the doors unlocked. Went in to find Abdul (the name he gave me) still on his phone call - I asked if he could please serve me at the counter next time as I had my dog, he stopped his phone-call, said ‘that’s a no’ and his friend resumed chatting to him. I asked his name and if he could please not continue talking to his friend whilst I was talking to him - his friend on the line thought this was hilarious (it was on speaker)…I don’t care if Abdul has decided he can’t serve me at the counter, it would be helpful if he had unlocked the doors to get in. But whoever you are - it’s downright disrespectful to continue talking to someone whilst serving a customer, even more so to have your friend laughing at the customer whilst you are providing awful customer service.

Young lad on nights at Thursday 20/7/23 asleep in back sat waiting for 20 mins before knocking on window and still no answer had to beep horn multiple times still no show then drive near window beep horn then he come out stretching wiping his eyes he is rude member of staff and I have had problem with him before as he short changed me £20 before and denied what I had given him so had to get another one of your staff to check cameras and no apology from him I don’t think he should be able to have a job with 0 manners and 0self awareness and no go for the job he needs sacking

Came to post about the rude staff working 07/07/23 around 12:20pm (woman with glasses in her sixties) to find a lot of reviews that mention rude staff at this garage. Is it Shell policy to hire rude staff? Or does this person need to be let go?

Friday night around 7pm I went to buy a pack of cigarettes. I asked the lady for the price of cigarettes as I did not know which I wanted to buy nor did I know the prices. She replied in an angry tone and voice that I can’t tell you the prices as it’s against the law. I asked her to explain and how do you justify when someone needs to know the prices!!! I’m a customers who is attempting to buy a product and I needed to know the price! After 5 minutes of trying to get an answer I gave up asking further questions and bought a pack that she was already holding in her hand. I wasn’t happy at all and her customer service skills lacked any emphaty, patience and problem solving! It felt as if she really hated being there which resulted in being really rude with customers. Previous reviews seems that this is not an isolated case.

Disgusting attitude from staff and manger don’t have clue what’s he’s talking about. Got there to wash a small LGV. No sign to say no Truck allowed. Few months ago I washed the same truck there and fueled up no one said Anything.Big open hand wash service there. One staff said you can wash it. Then one staff who loves her job so much she went to the manger to double check. When I asked her I never had problem before washing at any shell garage she kept on saying no u can’t wash it.Any other shell garage you can use there wash service but these one had to be awakered. Won’t be going there again.

The car wash didn't work properly. The manager refused to give a refund and said it was my fault. He expected me to just leave or pay again.I'll go to tesco next time!

Worse experience ever tonight Tuesdays 29th of November 2022 at 11:40pm runs out fuel been there lady was inside still shutters are open everything was open but she refused to serve the fuel I requested her again and again like beg her that plz it’s like a fever I can’t reach home without fuel but she refused and talking very rude and I ask to talk the manager or any nmber related to request the person and she just say I’m not allowed to do anything unprofessional customer service and very rude how can she say I don’t care if u r in trouble instead of helping
