Having driven past this restaurant so many times, even though we live less than a quarter of a mile up the road from it, my daughter and I finally decided to visit in September. Since then, we visit very nearly each week.The people are fabulous, the food is fantastic, and it’s become our first choice eatery for very good reason.We absolutely recommend 2Amici for a relaxing atmosphere, great food and truly hospitable hosts.

Bit faulty towers I'm afraid!! It was busy but looked understaffed and disorganized. House red - California barefoot merlot....why don't they serve Italian as a house wine? Spaghetti Bolognese was v good, tasty. Pizza was bland, perhaps because chef forgot to put spinach on?? Hope they improve, but bit disappointing for mid week early bird. £63 for 2 including drinks. Watch this space and hope they become a bit more organized!?

There is a nice ambience to the place and it feels very relaxing. Service was good and the staff smiling and pleasant. I couldn't fault the food, myself, sister and friend thoroughly enjoyed our meal, very tasty. I was just very surprised that my choice of chicken in a mushroom sauce, priced at £15.50 wasn't accompanied by anything. No veg, chips, potatoes, nothing. Its alot to pay for a small chicken breast. For the same price, my sister had chicken in breadcrumbs, salad garnish and chips. Surely a bit of veg or a few chips wouldn't go amiss.

Husband and visited while visiting the area. Extensive menu plus specials. We both ate from the specials board - surf and turf (sirloin steak plus one scallop and three huge langoustines) and a mixed fish platter. Both were generous portions and delicious. Would thoroughly recommend.

Visiting the area for the day and searched for and Italian near our hotel. We were welcomed in by polite and professional staff, the food was exceptional! Restaurant was clean and well decorated and had a warm and friendly atmosphere. All at a reasonable price! If we didn’t live in Scotland, we’d be here every weekend??
Second time here, it's always good service and great food. Easy to get to there either walking or driving. We will be back soon.

The staff were pleasant. The place was comfortably. The food was lovely. BUT the service was dire. We arrived as a party of 13 pre booked at 6pm but were nearly the last to leave at 9pm. Waiting nearly an hour for our main course. Won't rush back.
