The chairs are grotty, warn and don't look clean. There were tables with no chairs and no extra on other tables. When buying an overpriced coffee you should get a nice environment to drink it in.

The coffee is ok but the aircon blasts out even when it's minus 3 outside, this is a dirty trick borrowed from McDonalds so you don't sit there too long. Too long in my case was about five minutes before I realized my neck was frozen and will probably be stiff for days, if you wrap up and find a corner away from the door which is constantly left open then it's an ok place.

Really great Hot chocolates and even better when you ask for them extra hot, and they do it. As that's the only way Hot Choc should be served. Staff are always so friendly and polite

I was meeting a friend for a catch-up, and even though I don't like coffee we went to Costa, there's tea and hot chocolate ?A staff member heard me saying I wish I liked coffee due to the different options and very kindly offered me a alternative.

A very disappointing experience. Drinks were less than lukewarm & the staff were very surly & basically couldn't care less. Won't return to the Halifax branch. Total opposite of Huddersfield where nothing was too much trouble
