The staff were friendly and helpful, but the food is subpar and small portions Really dissapointed with the amount of food you get for the price, with my steak I was served, a slice of a portobello mushrooms. Not a full portobello and I got a literal miniscule amount of rocket My partner ordered for £17.99 chargrilled king prawn skewers, she recieved one that had 4 prawns on and the rest was veg I just think this beefeater franchise is ripping people off, I would highly recommend not going to these places and go to somewhere where you'll get a better portion and quality of food for you money

Lovely food again. I do like to eat at this restaurant, one of my favourite places in the Halifax area. We have had Excellent Service on several occasions from the staff Costel and Laura in particular, they know me when entering the restaurant and always have a warm welcome for everyone from what I have observed. The food is always cooked very well, from other reviews I have read I have not observed any issues personally. Beefeater Halifax the issue about staff having beards and then working with food, then beard nets should be used as a Food & Hygiene precaution. Please get someone from outside your restaurant chain to walk around and do a review of fixtures, fittings and amenities etc and do a To Do List and you can put right what you Do or Do Not know about. Overall I would rate: Staff 10/10 Service 10/10 Food 9.8/10 This is a genuine review, from a paying customer, my comments are my own personal views and based on my own personal experiences.

i only gave average, because the staff were friendly, but quite slow, too busy talking to each other, the food was quite poor i felt, my granddaughter was excited to get a christmas tree garlic bread as stated on the menu, it was actually 2 pieces of garlic bread cut into triangles, put together to resemble a tree, we were all quite disappointed with the food. the toilets were quite disgusting, i was shocked, but the worst thing was when i was on my way back from the toilet, i noticed one of the guys cooking had a longish beard which was not in a net and he bent down to get something and his beard touched a plate with prepared food on, if i hadn't already had eaten i would not have been. i will not be eating there again

Twenty five people had a choice of the Christmas menu and it was excellent. Service very good and all the courses were well presented and large. Service was excellent.

We've just had a Christmas lunch for 34 people and it was really very good. Service was good and the food was well cooked and tasty with plenty of gravy. Just a perfect start to our Christmas celebrations. Thank you.

Just had the lasagna came out looking a bit of a mess burnt all round the edges should have sent it back but was in bit of a hurry .so if they can send it out looking like that expect a crap review. Gosh got meal here tomorrow too,

I frequently stay at the Halifax Premier Inn and almost always eat this Beefeater when I do. Good food - and always friendly, personable and prompt service. First class, can’t ask for anymore than this. This must be one of the very best Beefeater’s, I shall keep returning.

The food was ? delicious. Had chicken skewers with roast veg and chunky chips and salad. Cooked to perfection. Haven't had good food like that in ages. Love how they cook it fresh where you can see them aswell. The service was excellent too. I'll certainly be back.

My husband and I had a lovely meal today 5th November. We shared Halloumi fries. My husband had a Mixed Grill and I had a Fillet steak with garlic prawns as an extra, I was disappointed I only got 2 prawns which cost £4.95!! I thought I should have had at least 4 prawns. It's a bit extortionate. Steak was cooked well. I think they need to get the place heated up before they open for lunch as the place was chilly and the food was dropping cold. Apart from that we do enjoy eating here. I finished off with a Black forest hot chocolate.

We are familiar with Beefeater restaurants but hadn't been to Halifax before. We were pleasantly surprised with the quality and service we received. I would recommend the stack burger and the banoffe sundae. We enjoyed our evening and will return. Thankyou

Shocking, booked a week in advance to turn up and be rudely dealt with by a women who clearly has zero people skills let along good customer service. Who advised we couldn’t have our reservation as they had ran out of food.!!
