It is possibly the best fish and chips in Halifax.I visited a few other places, and sadly, the quality deteriorates over time, but with Mixenden fisheries, this hasn't been my experience.

Staff were polite and happy to serve. There was this lass with tw*t glasses on but I suppose it’s her taste.Bread didn’t have much butter on, ended up being a tad dry. Chips were on the soggy side - maybe caught them at the wrong time.Will try again on a lunch time to see if there is a difference.

Fish wasnt so good, dry texture and not very many chips, 1st time I visited it was better but just luck of the draw I guess when I comes to fish

Popped in on a break from doing some deliveries, only ordered a chip butty, but looking at the other food in the food warmers, it looked really good. Chip butty was really nice, staff were polite, there's plenty of parking, prices are reasonable, not sure if it's a place to drive out to for food, but it is really good quality, I'll definitely visit again if I'm in the area ?
