Can't beat the classic Royal Fisheries an all time favourite since childhood. Never fails to disappoint. My first go to place in halifax, the food is always hot, fresh, tasty and made to how you want it.

This business really knows how to excel itself in everything it does !! The staff are delightful, more like visiting family than getting a take away !!Be warned, if you're hungry then this truly is the place to go to as the portions are huge so I especially asked for a much smaller one on my second visit. Everything's cooked to order & the staff really put their heart & soul into what they do. The shops spotless as are their uniforms, truly a great frying experience & I couldn't give these guys a higher score if I tried !! Good quality fish and chips and burger meals.Friendly helpful staff and good service top marks to the staff and the food is good quality and large portions to feed your whole family.Parking: parking on the main road sometime pretty busy but I always found parking.

Can’t understand simple instructions on food order
In the past when I have ordered from here the food has been up to standard, but YES A VERY BIG BUT!!!!!!!!! recently the food has been sloppy and my order has been wrong on a numerous of occasions. Not to point out but there maybe a new worker, who's hairless, looks very intimidating and looks mean. He has taken my orders and has always messed it up and when I have confronted him or told him he has made a mistake he has spoken to me in a very aggressive manner! My autistic son told him the food is wrong and there is a small amount of chips. He yelled at him and threatened to charge extra money, which has never been the case. WE NEED HIM FIRED!!!!

Not even worthy of a star! Where do I start? The food is dry, always tastes of cardboard. The staff are very stubborn especially this bald worker who seems to be very aggressive to people smaller in size to him! This is not how customer handling should be. Shameful!

We usually stop here for a bite to eat when in Yorkshire, Burgers are huge and full of flavor, proper chippy chips too. Very friendly staff. Prices very reasonable for what you get. If you were in the Midlands you'd make a killing. keep it up folks, worth a visit.
