I live in Huddersfield and Sapore is the best Italian restaurant that's within reach of us. Our fourth visit last night and the food and service have been consistently excellent each time.

What an absolute Italian gem. Lovely polite welcoming staff, we didn't book just called on the off chance.The food was amazing, we had spare ribs and garlic mushrooms to start and was brought the most fantastic home made bread for the table.For mains we had the Linguine with crab & prawns AND OH MY GOD - DELICIOUS, and also the Pizza Calzone and again absolutely gorgeous including the homemade tomato sauce for the topping ?.Thank you so much for fitting us in - we'll definitely be back!

The quality of the food at Sapore v’s the price point is exceptional and you’ll struggle to get better for the price anywhere in Halifax.Service is also very good, the restaurant does lack atmosphere and ambiance that’s partly due to the shape of the building and the table layout and simplicity of the furniture.If you are looking for more elegance and ambiance this isn’t the place for you. If you are looking for great Italian cuisine at a great price get yourself here.

Waited over an hour for food, food was very average and fairly tasteless, thought it was expensive for very average food and slow service, hard to here people speak on your table for the noise as there is no sound dampening and your sat close to other tables.
Excellent throughout it was just like being in Italy. Highly recommended.

Chose Sapore for a family meal at Christmas and it did not disappoint! The food was absolutely delicious and there was plenty to choose from including a specials board with some chef specials. The staff were very friendly and attentive and cannot fault the service. It was a busy venue with a great atmosphere! We had the most fabulous evening!
