Stopped to get a drink and check the sat nav. Next thing you know there's a £100 fine in the post. Avoid the place at all costs. Spend a fortune in this place on food, drinks and fuel for my 2 vehicles and won't ever use the place again.Cancel the fine or lose my business. Simple as

You have two minutes before you get a £100 fine at this station, utter disgrace I will never visit Shell garage ever again. This petrol station should be boycotted….. appealed about unclear signage was asked to go to court……. This is what I got:You stopped the vehicle in a no stopping zone.As per the signage, there is 'no stopping at all'. We do have a 2-minute grace period in place to allow drivers time to read the signage and move their vehicle. As you were observed for a duration which exceeds this allowance, you are liable for a PCN.There is clear signage around the site which indicates the terms. All our signs and sites go through a strict IPC audit process before we are authorised to issue PCNs. With this in mind, I am fully satisfied to say there was sufficient signage in and around the site.By entering and/or remaining on the land, the driver has agreed to abide by all the contractual terms and conditions that apply there. A breach of any of such terms and conditions results in the driver being liable for a £100 PCN, as per the signage. It is the responsibility of the driver to ensure they have read and understood the terms and conditions on site.

Completely avoid this Shell petrol station. I would give 0 stars if I could. My girlfriend received a Parking Charge Notice for stopping on the site for 3 minutes to use the shop. Anyone parking on the site takes the risk of receiving a Parking Charge Notice. It isn’t clear where the no stopping area starts and stops, as the site isn’t marked and the signage isn’t clear as to where the no stopping area is. More confusion is then caused by the cones and double yellow lines on the site. It’s not clear how a person can fill up a fuel tank/use the shop/use the ATM/use the air and water facilities without stopping! The site is ridiculous, as I’ve made Shell aware. For future reference, the private parking company is HX Car Park Management Ltd. The Managing Director is Kenny Marland and the Director is Ellie Berkeley.

Boycott this petrol station immediately!! What ever you do do not park here at any point you will recieve a hefty fine and a CCJ if your not lucky. Gladstone solicitors will chase you for missed payments and then the courts will become involved and Gladstone don’t reply to your emails. Shocking petrol station do not use!!!!!!! Don’t even deserve 1 star

Staff can be a bit rude and watch for that ANPR. It's deadly.

Do not use this petrol station! You WILL get an ANPR parking ticket, if you need the shop then you should unnecessarily occupy one of the pumps, even then they will probably still slap you with a fine.. Shell are in league with these pirates!

THE MANAGER IS DISGUSTING AND HORRIBLE! wears glasses and a RUDE short man and he is the most rude person I have ever met and then smiles after being awfully rude! He said that I am “banned†from the garage as I used my phone to send a text message just before filling up! HORRIBLE! I said I would complain to the manager only for him to tell me that he IS the manager!! Disgusting horrible place I will tell my friends and family to NEVER go here as the management is RUDE HORRIBLE AND VILE!
