In my opinion the Sunday lunch that we had was first class and so was the service. Probably one of the best in the area. We will definitely be back.

Just had Sunday lunch Ordered garlic mushrooms (which was supposed to come on a toasted brioche) asked for alternative and received a (soursough) different bum very nice. We both ordered Sunday roast beef and mixed meat (not on the menu) Arrived looking lovely and exactly what we both wanted. Tucking in both mash and roast potatoes were flavourless and watery. Beef was full of sinew and ineadible Chicken for me was nice slightly over peppered (my personal taste) Came with mixed roast veg again not for me almost raw parsnips. Carrots I'm ok with and broccoli stems almost like they were out of the garden (again not my taste). And flavourless gravy I've no idea how This is my yes my (not a general) review as others might like food this way Yes I will return as it's local

The Murg is a friendly pub and has good staff. Food is always great quality. Only gripe is there isnt a healthy option on the menu.

Such a nice pub / restaurant. Very pleasant staff and excellent service. Only a small lunch menu but I'm sure there is something for everyone. Very reasonable prices, I would definitely recommend.
