Second visit. In the area and chanced that they could fit us in. We were in luck because it soon filled up. Outstanding Sunday roast and unbelievable value. 30 quid for 3 courses and well worth it. Salmon and smoked cheese mille-fueille starter is unreal. The Mrs had the veggie mushroom Wellington and it was packed with flavour. Will definitely be returning.

First time here, hopefully not my last. Went for Sunday roast, genuinely one of the nicest I've had in years. Well cooked meat, delicious veggies and Yorkshire puds the size of my head! Kids roast for £7 was amazing value too. Service was friendly and efficient, couldn't have asked for more, overall it was a lovely lunch and I couldn't be happier.

We called in for lunch with my father, nice short menu with something for all of us, fish and chips for him and fantastic lamb kofta flat breads for us. The food was first class and the service was very attentive but relaxed. Fab place highly recommended.

My first time here. Just called for breakfast based on other reviews. We were not disappointed. The food was excellent. Avocado and poached eggs on toast and a full English were both excellent. The staff were friendly and polite. Prices were acceptable. All round a good experience. I'll be back!

Incredible food,menu is amazing we have over the past few months, had brunch with friends, Sunday lunch and evening dinner. Each visit was perfect, attentive,lovely staff. Gorgeous vibe and lovely atmosphere. Food is of expectional standard. And the martini Espresso is a must try. This is our New Fave place. A complete hidden gem. High reccomend.

True North is a delight, excellent service, faultless food, wonderful wine. Visited New Years Day, menu was stunning we opted for Beef Wellington’s and they were melt in your mouth amazing, wish I’d ordered some to take home. Came with beetroot fondant, crispy kale and extra little jug of red wine jus ?

We booked for NYE and I tried to add one more guest and was told it wasn’t possible. The restaurant wasn’t even 2/3rds full when we ate.. so many empty tables so my request could be easily been catered for. Amaretto Sour cocktail was sent back once as it tasted like sweet fruit juice, the replacement tasted the same unfortunately but they did discount the bill Atmosphere was lacking something too. Food was very tasty and attentive service but i don’t think I’d book again for a special night.
