Lovely food cooked to perfection, the breakfasts are the best locally.

We stopped at the Premier Inn next door. We felt the staff at the Watermill were a bit miserable. Luckily we had booked a table for 7 pm as at 7.30 pm, if you hadn't booked they were turning you away - it wasn't even busy. By about 8.30 pm they started setting the tables for breakfast and at 9.00 pm they came over and said they were now shutting the bar. We felt a bit uncomfortable after that as we felt like they wanted to close and go home - it was only 9.15 pm. This happened on both nights that we ate there.

Called in for drink after work. Ended up ordering fish & chips. Was fantastic. Great service and portion size was great valve for money. Staff great and would highly recommend

Went on Christmas Day. Service was amazing and the staff where friendly and accommodating even through it was busy. The food was excellent as usual and not rushed at all! Been to expensive restaurants over the last two years which were not great! Defo recommend!

My wife and I took my teenage son to The Watermill, Halifax today for lunch. The food was great and the customer service from the manager Stephen was excellent. Stephen's friendliness and hospitality was second to none, and we have become regular visitors because of his personal touch. Exceptional as always, well done.

We visited for sunday lunch as a family before xmas and all i can say is wow , excellent food , great value and the member of staff who served us , Stephen , is a real asset , super helpful friendly and efficient even tho it was very very busy , we look forward to our next visit and again a huge thankyou to stephen .

Me and my family go here quite a lot for breakfast mainly on weekends for the buffet and it's always really good food lots of choice and great selection for the kids too gwen is always really lovely with us and the kids and nothing is ever too much she's always has a smile, really kind and helpful with the kiddies too. Highly recommend for breakfast

Ate three breakfasts ( pre-paid ) and one evening meal Whilst all food is standard fayre for this type of place ( but good) the visits were made very good by the friendliness and helpfulness of all the staff at breakfast and at dinner time Gwen and Roxanne were especially helpful at breakfast times Thank you

Always get great service here, but Steve & Jennifer went way beyond for us today. I would say this is unusual but it really isn't here. Helping us with a problem with the app, voucher problems, our error with voucher terms all in their stride and with a smile. You really can't ask for better service

Had a carvery for 11 people paid alot of money and at best it was not ok was brought out frozen Yorkshire puddings the food was cold the only thing that was good was the staff will not be
