Good wholesome food served by friendly staff, in a clean pleasant environment, in a beautiful building.Made my day ♥️?

Good coffee. Good service. Excellent cakes. Dog friendly. And on a miserable, cold, wet, rainy day, all of the above was appreciated!

Turned up for an impromptu lunch last week and was really pleasantly surprised at the lovely food and the wonderful friendly staff that served it. Between us we had the meze platter and baked potato, simple fare but really nice and tasty. We will definitely be back next time we visit Hebden Bridge.

A nice community space and cafe adjacent to the river. A good place to have an unrushed coffee and tasty soup lunch with locally made bread. As a former hospitality manager, I’d just like to compliment the service as well! Two particular stand outs are Aaron and Natalie, lovely young people with a charm and friendliness you just can’t teach! I always feel put in a good mood after being served by them, and often see them taking the time to chat with older regular customers who clearly appreciate it. Feels like a very important thing to cultivate in a good community space. I’d never poach staff on principle, but sometimes it’s tempting!Another thing to note is the frequent events and exhibitions that take place in the cafe and town hall itself. There’s usually something to check out, so it’s worth a regular visit!

Compact, sensitive reuse of an old building into a community hub, with a cafe, event and exhibition spaces, facilities and also business spaces above.

My husband and I visited the cafe today as we were in Hebden Bridge for the Open Studios event. Being vegans we are used to finding nothing to eat in a lot of places but this lovely cafe had plenty of options, including yummy cake! The cafe is spacious, clean and inviting, with an outdoor seating area. The staff are helpful and pleasant. Definitely a recommendation from me!
