I ordered lamb dhanksak but it was more like an over spiced masala. Everything else was good. Not saying it didnt taste nice just didn’t taste like a dhanksakParking: Some space available on the street

Found the food very bland and average. To be fair prices was reasonable and restraint is lovely. But food was bang average. Onion bhajis were tasteless prawns purified was ok. Karachi was average and tasteless. Wouldn’t rush back

Had to pay cash. Food didn't justify prices.

When you get past the surrondings, the food is average. Sorry. Didn't like that our change was taken for granted that it would become a tip.

Went with another three adults and a 21 month old. Service was brilliant (including the attentiveness to my little grandson).

First time I have been after several recommendations. A few things I want to share. The women serving behind the bar to guests both in the waiting area and the restaurant are treated in a demeaning manner by male staff, whilst I understand this may be cultural it's disgusting to see in a modern civilised society. I don't want to witness this anywhere. The staff are attentive and very friendly all but one who seemed offended by comments about how disgusting Becks blue is as an non alcoholic choice of beer ( particularly when cobra 0.0 is available and far superior). I ended up having coke which I am assuming is a cheap brand as it was flat and a strange taste. The table cloths have obviously gone as seen in previous photos on here, I'm guessing this is a cost savings measure but it leaves ugly cheap brown tables that also effects the sound in the place. It's noisy loud and terrible music! It's very cramped tables pushed up close together. The huge television in the waiting area is tacky and unnecessary. The men's toilets are quite simply awful. This restaurant has a lot of covers and there is one toilet and one urinal , a cheap (one) bottle of hand wash. The food is just okay. I had a stuffed veg paratha and I think the veg was the frozen bags of cheap veg you get in supermarkets I ate a 1/4 of it, it wasn't good. I had an aubergine dish it was very bland and the aubergine not quite cooked enough for my taste. No fresh herbs from what I could see on any of the dishes brought to our table of five. I might try again but it's not one of rush back to.

It was an amazing experience to visit holmfirth because of Bengal spice , me and my wife been to holmfirth for couple of days and tried different indian restaurants but i must say Bengal spice is the best indian curry house i've ever visited . The interior was marvelous the quality of food was incredible with variety of options in the menu from starters to main .As i was confused what to try, a young man name memud came and helped me to decide my meal. the way he explained me all the curry and the ingrediants in it i was so excited to try most of them .on his recommendations i tried the dish called Katmando i believe.it was the most delicious chicken curry we've had some rice and garlic naan as well. we will definitely visit this restaurant again in future if we can .

Popped in on the off chance could get a table as staying at a local hotel overnight. Given a table straight away, a few other people in. Goid menu choices, food came quickly which is always a worry. However it was perfect. Great flavours, good value for money. Recommended. Nice touch a shot of Baiileys with the bill.

Food wasn't up to my liking but I guess it won't be authentic in that location service was good and a lovely place go try it yourselves don't go by my

Great service, chicken chaat starter fine. Main was the "extremely hot" chicken dish (7 heat chillis) hottest on the menu, which was very disappointing. Although there were generous chunks of chicken there were no visible fresh chillis (why?) and what must have been 2 tablespoons of chilli powder thrown in. There wasn't a great deal of heat (I've eaten hot supermarket curries with 6 finger chillis on top that were hotter) and all I could taste was canned chilli powder. They could have made an effort to make this a genuinely very hot curry, but basically insulted me by feeding me rubbish.
