Still as good as it's always been with a good mix of people. Definitely a drinkers pub. I remember meeting my wife here on a blond date. Over 35yeaes later it is still a pub with charm and a special sort of rustic char. Maybe not a place to have a date but I would have to disagree, it's the people you are with, not the venue.Go there and enjoy yourself/best with rustic charm.The bedrooms are small but the sound of the river below is nothing but relaxing and wonderful representation...read full review
Location was good, staff and breakfast were absolutely spot on. Quite noisy from the beer garden/revellers below, but you expect that from where its situated. Better than most offerings in the area for

A lovely old style yet quirky pub. Full of character and from our experience,a very popular place for a Friday night pint. There is an open fire and as many seats as can be fit in. A pool table and music. Dogs are welcome and this definitely added to the great atmosphere. I really enjoyed our visit.
