“Generally worth a visit, staff friendly and willing to discuss food and obliging regarding seating requirements. May be busy at weekends and sometimes rather short of staff at these times and weekday lunches. Not usually noisy even when quite full.Menues variable, vegetarian choices not always numerous but always good. Typically British in that they require an explanation to get a steak really 'rare' but happy to change if mistakes happen.Parking: Seldom full in our experience, especially at lunchtime.”
