Great atmosphere with some lovely outdoor seating options. A short but dashing young barkeep named Lou was very helpful with suggesting items off the menu and made me feel welcome. Will be coming back.

We went on Saturday the 2nd for a family birthday all together there was 12 people two meals came wrong and I left with food poisoning from the chicken burger. My response from the manager was that she was sad because no food is made on site all come cooked and frozen . We then found out from a family friend that the stay were complaining about our table as we sent our food back for being wrong . Definitely won’t be going here again .

A proper pub with a lovely beer garden, came for the food and there happened to be live music on the night I came. Such a lovely atmosphere, definitely coming again!

Came in today with the family for dinner and turns out there was a live musician playing. What a lovely surprise! We only went for some scran and ended up staying for hours. Such good Saturday night

Took advantage of their five pub classics for £5 offer in January. Didn’t book a table but were seated on entry. I had the fish and chips and my friend had the chicken wrap with fries. Excellent value for £5 - bargain !

We went to the Old Halfway House for Christmas dinner this year, the first time that we have done this, and we are converts. The pub made it such a great experience, the staff were brilliant, the atmosphere was lovely and the food was delicious.

The young man, I believe Hayden, who served us ensured we had a great experience throughout with efficient service despite how busy the restaurant was. He showed us how to download a website to receive some free drinks.

Sunday lunch for an 85th birthday, we were not booked in and they accommodated us perfectly!! Hunters chicken was fantastic, as was the beef, the portion of salmon was underwhelming in size. Staff are friendly and helpful.
