Really glad this place popped up when I was looking for somewhere for lunch with the family. Excellent home-cooked food, good drinks and a nice homely atmosphere.
If you're going for fine dining then you'll be disappointed, but if you're looking for traditional food in a quaint 70s retro setting with excellent and friendly service, you could do a lot worse than drop in here.

Loved the atmosphere, friendliness and food. I had home made chips, egg and sausage. My husband had a homemade corned beef and potatoe pie. He said the pastry was really nice. He ate the pie with chips and baked beans and gravy, he left the plate clean. We will be returning for more home made food. It is also dog friendly.

We visited on Saturday, for a lovely breakfast. Some classic Sausage, Egg and Chips and a Bacon Butty, alongside a takeaway spam sandwich for my Dad. All incredibly reasonable and very delicious!

Lovely local cafe - no nonsense retro food (as advertised!) Great for breakfasts and if you're lucky enough to go when they've got meat pie & chips on the lunchtime menu you won't be disappointed! Really friendly couple who run it, nothing is too much trouble.

My Son took me for Breakfast today...all I can say is..perfection, I loved the 70s and My home is filled with Retro items from the 60s and 70s so to have this amazing little gem of a place to visit for a tasty meal is amazing!...Honestly it's so friendly and warm, the 70s vibe is fantastic and most importantly the food was piping hot, beautifully cooked, well presented and utterly delicious..You can feel that it's cooked with Love ..will definitely be visiting again!...Thanks so much guys ❤️
