Went for Mother's Day cream tea. The food was amazing (savoury and sweet), all home cooked. The portion sizes were huge! So much so I had to bring over half of it home with me. Have already booked to go again.Quite limited seating inside.

Friendly owner and staff. Great coffee and gorgeous cake. Good menu selection. Build your own afternoon tea. Ploughman’s. Great drink selection, good coffee, specialist teas and different flavoured hot chocolates. Quirky, vintage style decor

Just had the afternoon tea with my daughter and Mum, everything was so tasty and beautifully presented, the bread was so soft and the fillings delicious. We had a salad and fruit as well as the most amazing and huge lemon and blueberry scone which was accompanied by lemon curd and clotted cream. Crisps on the side and a large slice of whichever cake was on display. Mum chose the coffee and caramel cake while my daughter and I chose the apple crumble cake. All home made and it shows ❤️ we could not finish it all so all had a box of food to bring home. I can't wait for an excuse to go again.

I visited Horbury to buy bicycle parts at Hopkinson cycles which is next door to the cafe. My stepson had a take out sandwich and I had a jacket potato with a pot of tea whilst I waited for him to buy his bike bits! The service I received from Hannah and Roxy was exceptional and the atmosphere in the cafe was very friendly and homely.I told Hannah if I lived closer I would certainly be a regular customer, of which she has many I believe.I wish her every success with the Flamingo's Teapot.

Needed a lunch venue to meet up with kids and grandkids near Horbury. Messaged on Facebook to book a table and got a prompt reply. Also asked if gluten free food available and it was. Arrived on a very drizzly day and it was fun and quirky inside. Seated quickly and grandkids offered toys, games and colouring books. Had a lovely cheese and branston toastie with a very good side salad & crisps. Others had jacket potatoes with tuna, mayo and coleslaw. Possibly the largest spuds I’ve ever seen! They were devoured. Really good quality food at a very reasonable price. Nicely presented. Pots of tea with cute cups and saucers. Completely overdid it with a chocolate crunchie cake. Delicious. The lovely staff had got a gluten free lemon slice ready just in case, which was eaten up. Very thoughtful. We weren’t rushed at all. If we lived closer (we live in Spain!) we’d visit it often.

All I can say is Wow what a find, after looking for somewhere local to take my granddaughter for afternoon tea I decided to try here and I’m so glad I did, from the minute you walk in you’re made to feel welcome, the staff were lovely and the food was amazing, I have told all my friends and family and we can’t wait to go back. Thanks again for a lovely afternoon.

Excellent, homemade and super tasty food. Divine mocha and had to take the cake away as the panini was so filling. Staff are really welcoming and friendly. Have been several times now and have never been disappointed. Would highly recommend this little gem.
