Fabolous Sunday roast last week. I had the nut roast which was amazing and my husband the beef (which apparently was equally as delicious). All the trimmings were cooked to perfection too, which is always a sign of the care and attention placed by the chef. Special mention to the cauliflower cheese which was divine!I cannot wait to be back!Vegetarian options: One of the best nut roast I had in a long time!

Its the first time we've been to the old kings Arms and we will 100% be going back. The pub was lovely and cosy, with a few furry friends that were dying to say hello. Perfect place to go if you love dogs. The staff were very attentive, knowledgeable and friendly, they couldn't do enough for us really which made us feel special and taken care of. We opted for the small plates. Basically got the whole menu and everything was delicious. It was just the right amount of food, everything was seasoned to perfection, and everything arrived in a timely manner. I would say the salmon pastrami was the highlight, closely followed by the buttermilk chicken. You must try the chocolate moose with peanut brittle as well!! Would definitely recommend and I can't wait to go again! Thanks to the team and props to the chefs!

Food was absolutely faultless !! Me and my partner shared almost the whole shares menu... Full was an understatement but still had room for dessert. I couldn't recommend it enough ! Casual environment, friendly service , and great price for the quality of food in Horsforth. 10/10 guys ❤️
Came here for the first time with my friend Olivia for a drink and pub quiz. I was feeling very under the weather but had still wanted to come. We enjoyed a pint, followed by a hot chocolate for me. The pub quiz was hilarious, hosted by Quizerella (think that's the spelling) who made me roar with laughter! Such a funny, unforgettable alternative to a traditional pub quiz. Great stuff.

We went with family and a group of fiends to try the highly recommended Sunday roast and it didn’t disappoint, it was so delicious and we even got lots of extra gravy to accompany the perfectly cooked, beef & chicken, Yorkshire pudding, roast potatoes, roast parsnips, carrots, red cabbage (not forgetting the side of cauliflower cheese). The service was spot on and the atmosphere super cosy and chrismassy. Will be back for round two soon!

The staff are friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere is relaxing and comfortable. We loved the log burner and Christmas decorations. Nothing was too much trouble Sunday lunch was delicious and plenty of it. We will be back !!
