Been coming here for years. Great beer, nice food, good atmosphere, but fck me the bars needs to cheer up. Most miserable bloke we've encountered in years. Hardly a joyful experience

Called in for lunch on a Monday, fairly busy and good atmosphere but the music was switched off about halfway through. Food not great, burger was definitely frozen and bland and the chicken and bacon sandwich was so dry. £32 for that and 2 drinks was excessive for the quality, wouldn’t return.

Just had a great lunch at the Bar Tat. Veggie. Burger was great, actual vegetables not fake meat. Hubby had fab normal sausage and mash with well kept beer. Nice staff too. Great find for us.
Lovely food and a large selection of drinks. Nice outdoor area. Shame it's next to a carpark. Can't be helped I guess. Although the food was delicious, we found it quite pricey.

Decent roast beef dinner presented heaped up in a bowl Bowls are for pasta or soup and to cram all the lovely vegetables in such a dish,well call me old fashioned but that ain’t what a traditional roast is about Excellent ales, the best I’ve tasted in Ilkley in the last fortnight

Visiting Ilkley. Came to the pub as it looked nice when passing and we were not disappointed. Gammon and chips, fish and chips, Mayan burger and children's meal were all good pub food. Served by really friendly staff. Great choice of beers and a nice beer garden too. As parents we loved that two sizes of children's meal were offered (not enough do this) . The little version was plenty for our toddler. Will coffee again if visiting.
