Having eaten there since he has taken over, there is an obvious increase in quality. The new dishes are bolder with an air of confidence from the new head chef and his kitchen.Front of house the service is excellent and the sommelier knowledgeable and happy to give his recommendations. Waiting staff were pleasant and professional.Location of restaurant means no on site parking but the main town car park is to the rear of restaurant with a 1 min walk.With a constantly evolving menu there will always be a reason to go back.

10 Wells Rd, IlkleyFabulous little gem of a place.Served by the warm, informative, lovely lass Fran.The home made produce of breads ( olive)and ice creams were amazing.We shared 4 smaller meals, soufle, lemon prawns, fabulous little chorizos and hand cooked chips.All were very tasty but the chorizos our favourite.The owner came and talked to us about the history of his involvment with the reasturant and how proud he is of its quality and popularityFabulous place ,will def go back when in Ilkley again .

1-2 New Brook St, IlkleyWent for husband's birthday. We were the only people in the restaurant, however this was likely due to it being the day after Mother's Day and a Monday evening. Food was delicious. Mixed sharing platter was excellent, great choice if you can't decide what to order! Both had steaks for main which were cooked well, and the chunky chips were amazing! Also tried some bone marrow gravy which was really rich and tasty. Puddings were brownie and creme brulee which were lovely. Long island iced tea cocktails were also good. Service was excellent, very attentive waiter, however we were the only customers so cannot comment what it is like when busy. Will definitely be returning!Parking: Limited street parking available, which is pay and display everyday 8am-6pm

Best meal we’ve had for months and we eat out a lot! I had the Pacherri and my wife had the Chicken Supreme from the specials menu - both great. We look forward to a return visit!

Main St, Burley in Wharfedale, IlkleyCalled yesterday for lunch. We were greeted by friendly staff who showed us to a quiet table. The atmosphere within the pub was excellent. My son and I had the sausages and mash with Yorkshire pud while my wife had the homemade lasagna. We were all impressed with the quality of the food. The staff couldn’t do enough for our adult autistic son, on paying found out that the landlord came from a village near our home. We will definitely be back ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️?

152-154 Main St, Addingham, Ilkleyace pub with some of the nicest staff ever.my friend had a bad fall on the moors and the manager and staff at the fleece couldn’t have be more helpful and accommodating to us. i didn’t get the managers name but who ever was working on today (saturday 24th feb) deserves a pay rise.thank you so much !! if i’m running in the area again i’ll make sure to pop in for some food !!

U3, Brook St, IlkleyWhat a delightful deli cafe! I can see why it's so popular, both as a cafe and for takeaway food and drink. Four of us called in between sessions at Ilkley Literature Festival and we all loved the food we had ordered. The quiche with salad was simply delicious and my friends who had the sandwiches really enjoyed those as well. The cakes looked fabulous too. I ordered a weak, decaf latte and it was perfect. I discovered this deli/cafe simply by accident - the owner/shop assistant was kind enough to allow me to use the toilet before I started a walk with my walking group nearby. Otherwise, I'd never have realised it was there or seen the delicious looking (and tasting) homemade dishes there. We will be back again this coming week between our Ilkley Literature Festival sessions. Highly recommended, both as a cafe and takeaway ... and for the deli produce.

Clevedon House, Ben Rhydding Dr, IlkleyA friend and I had dinner here on Saturday. The staff were welcoming and friendly, the restaurant was decorated lovely and with great views of the countryside. We had the belly pork and the time taken for it to be served was perfect - not too quick or slow. It was extremely tasty. We’ll be sure to visit again soon!

28 Brook St, IlkleyThis was the best kebab I’ve had in my 15 years of eating kebabs. The chips were perfect, the cheese atop most and below was sumptuous. They layered it like a lasagna. Every bite was a treat which left me wanting more. The kebabs meat itself was juicy AF. The sauces balanced the chaos. I woke up thinking about it. Recommend to a friend.

We were greeted by Margot (fantastic name), who was friendly and professional throughout our visit. Nice relaxed atmosphere and the sharing board we had was lovely.Wouldn't hesitate to return.Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp into the main entrance to the ground floor. Unsure of access to first floor.

They are 1 of the only pizza places round here that have a vegan cheese option unless you want to order from a chain which we don't! Being dairy intolerant and not vegan, I love that I can create my own vegan cheese pizza with meats on it, and it is honestly so delicious! Can't recommend enough.

22 Leeds Rd, IlkleyWe were in Ilkley for a special celebration and headed for the Toast House as we had had a wonderful meal there some months back. We were not disappointed, we were welcomed by an amazing team of delightful ladies who made us feel very comfortable. I had the best scrambled eggs on toast ever! Homebaked bread with real butter pilled high with creamy scrambled eggs.(even though brunch service had officially finished! shhhhh!) My wife enjoyed the daily special of feta cheese, spicey onion and porcini ham on fresh toasted bread. The coffee is without doubt the very best in Ilkley. But the best thing about the cosy and welcoming Toast House has to be the delightful staff. Thank you to all concerned.

The lady behind the counter was very helpful answering my questions about some of the dishes that I'd never come across before (Ma Lad) and was very friendly with a couple of customers on the phone lol.Parking: No dedicated parking but as I was there quite late in the evening and in a large van my parking was slightly less than that desired by the highway code lol

Outside The Box Cafe
The Victorian Arcade, Outside the Box, IlkleyWhat a lovely spot!!! Called one cold Thursday afternoon for coffee and cake whilst visiting Ilkley for the first time. Hadn't seen many cafes ( and I refuse to queue outside and pay inflated prices of a certain other cafe in the area!!) when we spotted this by the car park.The cafe was lovely and warm. It is really quite big with some of the tables being out in an old, covered arcade. There were even blankets out here for the more colder days. There are tables for two or four then longer tables for larger groups. The tables and floor were spotless, the staff were welcoming.Our coffee was good and hot and full of flavour and the coffee cake was a proper Yorkshire size!!There are some vegan options - plus ice cream for dogs! And I saw a lady come for take away.It wasn't until I started looking at the boards in the arcade that I realised it was a Community type cafe and I started to take more notice. It was wonderful to see the adults working together! What a fabulous place!So, if it does take a minute or two longer for your food to arrive , don't moan , just think how lovely it is that people with disabilities are being given the opportunity to be trained up for a job! The beautiful young lady that served us couldn't have been more pleasant!! She had a constant smile on her face!! How gorgeous! She looked so proud to be working - and so she should be!Two words of warning - you do need to pay by card ( not a problem to the vast majority of people ) and, I've been told, they sell out of scones quickly on busy days!!So, if you give them a visit remember - There is still some good things happening in this world !❤️❤️❤️Ps we added £1, as a donation , to our bill and they were so genuinely pleased. We won't miss the £1 but it means a lot to them.

52-54 The Grv, IlkleyPopped in for brunch. They were fully booked inside, so we sat outside under the awning. Blankets were provided but the heaters weren't on. I had the full English breakfast pricey but mostly very good, 3 poached eggs was definitely a winner, only downside to the food was the bacon was a but dry. Coffee was good could have been a but bigger though. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. The place was clean and the jazz version of "we're only making plans for Nigel" wafting out of the speakers was a new one for me. I'd definitely call again
