What can I say! Warmest welcome, total Italian ambience with superb food and drink all at a very respectable cost. Will definitely be returning on a regular basis assuming we can get booked as extremely popular. If you are in Ilkley then Emporio Italia is a must!

Emporio Italia, what a truly remarkable and memorable experience. Whilst this was my first visit it certainly wont be my last. In fact, I made to point to ensure that we had a reservation in the diary before we left. The moment I stepped in side I was transported back to my childhood memories of visiting Italy. The atmosphere, the hospitality, the aromas from the kitchen, the authenticity….but what I loved most of all was the passion from Luigi when he stands to announce the menu of the day. Just like all Italian food should be, simplicity done to perfection with that sprinkle of family love. In summary, my visit to Emporio Italia, made to feel at home by Gianluca and the amazing staff front of house, mirrored with passion and presence of Luigi, was not just a meal; it was a nostalgic journey to the heart of Italy. The spectacular food and the unparalleled dedication to service made it an experience that will stay with me for a long time. If you're looking for a taste of Italy coupled with genuine warmth, Emporio Italia with Luigi and his amazing team is a must-visit. Grazie mille for the memories!

Emporio Italia is just… wow! After going we have gifted atleast 4 people with vouchers for Christmas because it’s JUST that good! From the atmosphere, the experience, to the unreal food - it was all 5 stars and we genuinely cannot recommend it enough! Best Italian around!

We absolutely love our visits to Emporio and it is always a faultless experience. A warm welcome, brilliant service, scrumptious food, sensible pricing and the extra special ingredient of Luigi explaining the dishes which we never tire of. Every single dish puts a smile on my face.

A much awaited return, pilgrimage even, to a Yorkshire shine of Italian cooking. Three diners, each choosing their favourite meal, Gnocchi Ragu, Lasagna and Penne Montanara. As usual, all were a perfectly blissful dining experience. How I wish we lived closer! The staff were their usual attentive selves and the ambiance is relaxing and unhurried, the whole place given over to the celebration of the food that comes out of the kitchen. A new and exciting discovery for us this time were the two different Delizzia on the dessert menu, the Limoncello being the favourite. As we group we love coming here and rarely leave without booking our next visit. Roll on Valentine’s Day, I can’t wait,

Wonderful restaurant. Cannot fault it. I alway ensure that when I am in North Yorkshire we visit Emporio Italia. It’s a long way from Pembrokeshire but worth it. The lasagna is the best. I also love the penne dish which is a house special. Risotto is great too. I could go on. It’s all great.

This restaurant produces the best Italian food in Yorkshire. Every dish is absolutely delicious and made with love. The staff are exceptional. Every time we go there for lunch I wish we lived closer, but travelling from Ripon to enjoy such a treat is worth the time it takes to get there.

The best Italian trattoria in Ilkley by a mile. Owner Luigi’s passion for Calabrian cuisine is epitomised in his delicious, home-cooked food. Friendly, attentive staff, and the intimate atmosphere, ensure it’s somewhere we return to time and time again.

Cannot recommend this wonderful trattoria enough. I have lost count of the number of times we have visited and can honestly say we have not had anything but a wonderful experience each time which includes the food, the ambience as well as the welcome from the wonderful staff team. We tried booking again at the end of today’s visit for a Friday in January but without success so we’ll have to wait until February to go again! This says everything about how very popular this lovely eating place is amongst its loyal and very satisfied regulars. Please, please try it for yourselves (if you can book a table!)

This beautiful family run restaurant truly is the beating heart of Ilkley. Luigi and his family create an exceptional experience from the moment you walk in the door. The staff are so friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The food is absolutely delicious. I had the espresso martini cheesecake for dessert and it was to die for! All dietary requirements are catered for.

Not only is the food delicious (Every time) but the intimate Italian settings are delightful. Love Luigis humour and passion with his performance in going through the days choice menu, backed up by his family and staff, makes it feel so so good. £18.95 for a drink, bruschetta & olivers, mains (small varied menu) coffee and a choice of deserts for £6.95 makes it a treat. Booking Emporio's into January now as its so popular. A lovey way to spend an afternoon.

The best meal my wife and I have enjoyed for as long as we can remember. Emporio Italia gives a real taste of the Italian trattoria experience. The ambience is intimate and cosy. There is nothing visible or audible that is anything other than Italian. The experience begins with a very tasty bruschetta, genuinely the best I have ever had. The chef then exits the kitchen to give a detailed description of each of the eight or nine main courses on the blackboard. He oozes passion for his dishes and makes each and every one of them utterly desirable in his strong Italian accent and trademark effusive body language. This is a show not to be missed. Immediately following the chef's return to the kitchen, his ears ringing with rapturous applause, our order was taken by a very friendly, knowledgeable and engaging waitress. We didn't have to wait long before our food was brought to the table. My pork cacciatora was a delight to the tastebuds. My wife's pasta montanara was also an absolute triumph. The portion control was perfect and allowed us to share a portion of martini and coffee cheesecake with ice-cream - wow! Delicious! The clean plates told their own story of how much we had relished each fork/spoonful. For such an amazing dining experience the bill was modest: £48.50 for three drinks, two main courses, a dessert and two coffees. Unbeatable, I suggest, especially given the quality of the food and the totality of the dining experience. Wonderful atmosphere; excellent service; outstanding food; amazing value for money. We are already planning our return. I could not recommend Emporio Italia highly enough.
