Have eaten at The Fleece several times and the food has always been great. But on previous visits we must have managed to avoid the angry landlady or manager. On Saturday we were met by her for the first time and she was so rude and weird it actually became funny to our party of 5. Loads of ace pubs in Haworth so will book in there in the future. Shame because again food great, and other staff lovely, but would rather eat steak ale and pie without being shouted at. Being served by the angry woman was entertaining in a way though so given an extra star x

Been in a colossal number of times for drink & lunch & always delighted.Tried to call to book a table for dinner, (month ahead) & met with a strange response, "we don't know, we might have other people wanting to book", "Can you make a payment of £45 now to confirm"? "Yes", I said......... Pause....."Oh I don't know " came their response again, "We might have other people wanting to book, we're going to have to call you back".?What the heck??One week later still no callback.Called somewhere else instead, totally friendly, booked straight in..Great for drinks, & impromptu snacks; will certainly be back for them but will think twice for anything more.
