My partner & I just visited the Red Pig in Keighley. Initially the service was very welcoming by the young man with a beard behind the bar. However the pub was so bitterly cold that we joined some locals near the small fire as the central heating was broken & the pub is freezing! When the locals left they invited us to sit near the fire as it was so cold ❄️ we sat to the side of the fire and suddenly this incredibly rude woman turned up from nowhere demanding I move as the pub ( her pub) is so cold. She started ranting without taking any responsibility for her heating being off and when I went to the toilet she moved my chair to make a point. The rude landlady btw is called Janet and rather than having a go at customers she should concentrate on getting the pub heating repaired. There are laws about temperatures that staff can work in and neither staff or customers are legally allowed to tolerate such cold conditions. Luckily I work for the local council and have taken recordings of the temperatures around the pub and will send my recordings in to get this sorted one way or another!!!!!! In terms of recommending this pub to newcomers then take my advice & STAY AWAY if it is still open! The staff deserve much better management & working conditions, as do the customers!!! Shame on Janet!!!!!

a nice hidden gem in keighley, allot of effort into customer service. The cak ales ,are spot on.great selection of wine and spirits. Good atmosphere. Nice place.

You know when you go to a great pub, and this one’s right up there. Solid choice of cask ales - I’m here during Happy Hour - so bonus. Ambient atmosphere- proper boozers pub.
