Love this restaurant, always left five star reviews. Won’t be going again, ordered fish and chips and a scone via Just Eat. Driver shown outside but just drove past and ticked delivered. When I rung the restaurant, “not our problem take it up with just eat”. Well you have now lost a loyal customer that won’t be setting foot in your place again.

Ate in from the 2 course menu. Fish and chips are very good quality and the home made treacle pudding and custard is very nice indeed

Our go-to for local fish and chips, you can be waiting for a while because it’s cooked fresh, would be nice for some kind of bench/seating near the counter while waiting, staff always friendly and food always

A bit late but nevertheless. I bought 2X special and chips (scraps aswell) yesterday evening. Lovely succulent Fish and chips cooked well. I've purchased Fish & chips over the years, and would always rate them very high. Portions are very generous indeed!!*4.5/5???

Lovely good but kind of let down by the lack of actual cutlery, wooden knives and forks are horrible to eat with. I understand the reasoning behind them but not pleasant to eat with at all.

Small order of only chips and gravy, Simply asked if I would like salt and vinegar, to which I replied kindly I will let you know when it’s ready, the lady made me repeat myself three times, to which she then snapped at me. Saying I was only asking, to which I replied I am on the phone trying to find out hence I said I will let you know and serve someone else. Food is now ready I asked politely for salt vinegar to the lady straight up refused to salt and vinegar and told me do it myself on the restaurant tables. Food cannot complain. service absolutely shocking, poor hospitality service and overall off-putting to say the least.

Not stockbridge arms anymore. It's a chip shop, restaurant. Food good, large portions, excellent service.

Both fish and chips served piping hot on a cold rainy day, the coffee was good as well, lady behind the counter was lovely, cheerful and fast, would recommendWheelchair accessibility: Sure I remember walking down a properly built stone ramp at the side of my partner who took the steps.
