Gets quite busy especially on weekends. Petrol station causes mayhem as it's the same entrance to store., but obviously plenty of goods to choose from, toilets available and cafe if you want to chill out.Getting in and out at this time of year is a nightmare.

We used This Morrisons as the one in Spalding in Lincolnshire has a lovely all-day breakfast. Sadly this Morrisons did not come close to it. To start with there was some loose water Mellon on the self service check out, this was followed by an awful smell near the hot drinks machines, the smell was horrible. The table my daughter picked was compromised by a very smelly man, not Morrison's fault but I'm trying to get my experience across. The table we sat at could really have done with a wipe down with hot soapy water. The food also took an age to come. All in all our experience was not what we are used to. Won't use the cafe here again.

I found everything I wanted and very helpful at checkout, BUT I am not happy about not having a receipt available. I prefer to check the receipt when I get home.

What an appalling shopping experience I had to endure at the Knottingley branch of Morrisons. The self checkout would turn the most amiable person into ornery at best. One of the items I scanned wasn't even in their system, I suspect others were encountering the same misfortunes as myself. This was evident by the number of flashing red lights at several of the checkout terminals. No-one came to assist, in fact the only visible staff members were those on the normal checkouts. In the end I went in search of help and finally found solace - not before I received the archetypal "roll of the eyes". Minutes passed, frustrations heightened and eventually all parties were appeased. The staff at Morrisons look genuinely disinterested, I suspect it's all down to pay and conditions are having a poor manager at motivating people. Anyway, it is a shame and Morrisons loss as I suspect they have squandered trade to their neighbours - Lidl, who's premisses I will most definitely be frequenting from now on.

Visited for the first and last time last week. Walked quickly around the store, then on to the self-service checkout and as I'm about to start swiping items the security guard walked over and stood just two feet away watching me. I tried to find out why but his English was terrible, a positive discrimination employee I would believe. I said I'm not shopping here if I'm going to be treated like a criminal, I left my goods and shopped elsewhere. Wish I'd thought to complain but I was annoyed at the time. Besides, some people are unsackable these days.

Huge store, good prices. Great selections and a large amount of British goods. It's more important now than ever before to Buy British items. Help to support the local farmers and producers.

Bought two frozen Pizzas, you could tell they had been fully defrosted (probably during putting stock away) and they were all squished and mis-shaped! I threw them both away as I didn't want to risk something that had defrosted and refrozen as its a potential food poisoning risk! This isn't the first time either, I've bought ice cream in the past from this particular supermarket, again you could see it had fully defrosted and at one point turned to slop and refrozen again. Not happy.
