“A favourite of ours for a while now. Such a regular spot for so many locals. And worth a bit of a travel for anyone not quite "local" too.
A great team of staff also that are always on form.
Can't recommend enough.”

“Visited york for the weekend and came by this lovely shop. The girls behind the counter were lovely, so friendly and inviting. Our pie slices were so nice and decadent and were a lovely treat when we got back to our hotel room. Would highly recommend and will definitely return on future visits to york.”

“Best cafe in Chapel Allerton! I come here at least every other week and it’s one of my fav things about my day off. The food, the staff and the vibes are just so good. I’ve just been in and got the dahl to take out and WOW. The must be some kind of sorcery going on there because the flavours were just incredible. Their soups are also very tasty. Will return, always!”

“First actual visit today in Grimsby (Freshney Place) after passing several times and seeing it so busy but never having time to wait. Ordered a toasted cheese and ham sandwich and cappuccino. Coffee lovely and hot, sandwich not so as cheese hadnt melted. Not a problem as they recooked the sandwich and it was perfect. Lovely staff, lovely clean environment and lovely food..oh I purchased a Christmas crumble muffin to take away..absolutely delicious. Would recommend this place 100%”

“Always greeted by the lovely lady with the biggest smile. Tried the pistachio white chocolate cookie which was mouth watering, to top it off the homer doughnut was homer size. :) She tuck time out of her lunch break to serve me today,”

“Super friendly, they make time to chat rather than just pass food to you. Use manners, please and thank you, (how rare is that these days) and always try to up sell, great for the brand, but also gives the customer choice. Very happy to be a repeat customer for several years now”

“My first time eating here at the well known pieminster,I was pleased with the nice decor and layout along with pleasant and polite staff.i was going to have the Sunday special but because it's so popular and early sellout,I opted for the cappuccino whilst waiting for my main course of a beautiful rich steak&kidney pie enclosed in a beautiful top and bottom crust just like my nana used to make,
The pie was exceedingly good with generous fillings in a tasty gravy sat on top of a base of mashed potato and topped with mushy peas and crispy onions.
The sticky toffee pudding along with the ice cream was also delightful, all in all a very nice experience and well worth the money, deffo will be coming back.”

“I bought a Victoria sponge cake for my friend's birthday. It was a piece of art, so pretty, decorated with fresh fruit and edible flowers. Very tasty too. Friendly, easy service. Delivery was offered but I opted to pick the cake up on a Saturday morning.
Considering the quality of both presentation and flavour, I considered the cake excellent value at £35. Will deal again. Thanks Elly.”
