This is the 4th time we've been here since moving back from Oz. No family with us this time, but we had a voucher from a friend so it was a cheaper night out.Bread and olives before starters. All good. Love the butter. I had a pig cheek, small portion but cooked perfectly, wifey had a rabbit terrine. Loved it. Mains came out in good time, not too long, not too quick. Enough time for talking and sipping wine and taking in the beautiful looking restaurant. Venison with celeriac mash, blackberries. She raved about it. I got beef cheek. Again I thought it was small but then a portion of mash came out of nowhere and saved it. Turns out I didn't see the mash in the menu. Very nice dish. Nothing new, but executed very well. We shared an old school chocolate fondant for dessert. Nigh on perfect.I do want to point out that 25 years ago I worked at Leodis as a chef and this owner, owned that. But I know Steve as much as I know anyone I haven't seen in 24 years. Also, one one of the occasions I came here, with my wife's parents, I had a terrible meal. Everyone else loved theirs, but mine totally missed the mark. It wasn't a hot meal as it should have been, and even though I knew the dishes from my time at Leodis, time had not been kind. But again, everyone else loved theirs so I put mine down to shameful nostalgia. So even though I've enjoyed myself 75 percent of the time here, I still highly recommend because no one else I know has had anything bad at all to say about Kendall's.

DJ has been the best for our bottomless brunch. Didn't manage to finish a glass before the next drink was offered, and the quality of the cocktails were amazing. The food was really good too!

Me and my boyfriend came here for the Sicilian wine tasting experience and it was amazing! Nico and his team were really lovely and Nico was great at explaining each wine and which food to pair with. The surprise wine at the end blew us both away and felt like we were in heaven!We would highly recommend this experience and we will definitely come again!

Ever since I saw the decor of this restaurant from the outside I dreamed of visiting it one day. Treated by my partner to a birthday dinner, I finally had a chance to experience its atmosphere and its take on, my favourite, Italian cuisine. The place didn't let down in any aspect. Despite being quite packed, it still felt very cosy and friendly. The food was excellent, portions ideal, service amazingly fast and staff very attentive. Big thank you to Laura, who made us feel welcome and looked after and every now and then exchanged a few words with us. She felt very genuine and never intrusive. Certainly wouldn't mind returning for more.

Stayed in Leeds for work and the Mylahore restaurant was next door. It looked welcoming and the menu looked amazing. It didn’t disappoint. Our waiter Khizer was superb very helpful.Nothing was too much trouble. The food was absolutely amazing. We don’t usually have 3 courses but we just couldn’t resist.Very good value, service and atmosphere. 10/10 would recommend and visit again if we were in Leeds.

Brasserie Blanc

Excellent Sunday roasts! If I was being super critical the meat was very slightly over but it was still delicious. Everything else was spot on, the souffles are beyond amazing, the rhubarb and almond tart was exquisite, drinks were great and by far the best service in Leeds.

Went for a bite to eat prior to watching Makita Hackman - booked in advance and the table was reserved and waiting for us.... beer - Camden Pale (tick) then i had the winner winner (chicken tenders in a bun) with naked fries and my son has the veggie burger with veggie bacon and onion rings plus naked fries.... excellent meal, great serviceHighly recommended.... btw it was very busy so if you can book a table it is best to do so!

Caracas Grill La Taberna Leeds

Me and my wife visited La Taberna on Saturday night our last visit was a couple of years ago - they did not disappoint. We loved every single dish and the waiter was very helpful with dish recommendations. The whole experience from the staff to the music and ambience was spot on. Would definitely recommend aubergine frites and the chorizo is the best I have tasted. Will certainly not be leaving 2 years before our next visit. Apologies but I did not get the waiters name otherwise I would have mentioned him specifically as he was very good.

Saturday evening table for two . Nice independent little restaurant . After a couple of drinks we had bread and home made pickles. The pickles were extremely tasty . The place has a nice feeling about it and done out quite well . I had the belly pork which was done just right with a side of potatoes . My wife had the chicken schnitzel which she thoroughly enjoyed . I recommend a visit to The Swine That Dines . Support local restaurants

First time visiting as it's a new business in headingley. Absolutely amazing, the girls were so friendly, chatty and smiley and even got a nail recommendation! We ate their sashimi, sushi and ramen and it was so full of flavour. If your in the area, make sure to try it coz the price you pay is very reasonable

The Dry Dock Leeds

The experience is excellent. The vibe inside is so cool, you wouldn’t expect it from the outside but 10/10 recommend. The weekly specials and events are top notch. One of the best bars in Leeds. Meg was a lovely hostess. Def will come again.

The Whitehall Restaurant & Bar

Decided to go here having considered it previously. Booked easily online.Had a lovely experience, fantastic food and great service by attentive, smartly dressed, friendly staff.Vegan menu which I hadn't known so, as a vegetarian it was great having additional options which they good also do as vegetarian (ie include cheese!)I had beetroot followed by risotto milanese and then creme brulé. My partner had carpaccio, venison and then the petit fours. All dishes were really good.If we had any negativesto mention it would be there acoustics of the building mean it can be a bit difficult to have a conversation or indeed hear the staff clearly.Also the service charge is included which can be a bone of contention. However, there was definitely no reason it wasn't deserved.Will certainly visit again.

If I could have one last dying wish it would be that Holly and Freya (SPECIFICALLY) were to have not one but THREE drinks paid for by the establishment for their customer service was second to none and their drinks were amazing. Fantastic experience. But again, please give Holly and Freya and to be honest the entire staff a free bar this evening because they're amazing and deserve the world for working a hospitality job in a recession like absolute QUEENS... I'm not really a fan of chain pubs but service was quick and friendly. There was a good choice of food and enough of it to satisfy an adults appetite. So I was happy enough and received value for money.Parking: A bit awkward as parking shared between several outlets but easy enough to find a space. Exit via one route meant there was a queue to leave.

Fazenda Rodizio Bar & Grill Leeds

A fantastic restaurant with a pristine decor that's warm, inviting and stylish.Complete with Riverside views, friendly / attentive staff and some of the best meat in the city. I was impressed with the attention to detail of our server, who ensured we received medium-rare and well done options throughout.The atmosphere was very warm, lively and most importantly, the cleanliness was exceptional. Probably one of the more stylish WC areas I've seen for a while, that wouldn't be out of place in a prestigious, sleek home decor magazine.I left completely satisfied and unable to conceive of having another bite. A truly decadent experience that I look forward to re-living soon.

Been a few times now and never been disappointed. Wonderful street food and a varied selection of beers etc. often get the combo for two and recommend the samosa chat and the fried okra. The onion bhajis are good but quite spicy! Often necessary to book as it's busy.

First time to this gem of a place.Recommended by the lovely Caroline at Quebecs Hotel, and can see why!Fabulous atmosphere, very friendly , attentive staff, great vibe in the place and it was only mid week too, and the food was sublime, absolutely first class, my seabass was cooked to perfection and extremely tasty. Very reasonably priced indeed.This far beats the usual chain Italian restaurants, by far one of best we've eaten in, we will be back on our next visit to Leeds.Thank you.

De Baga Restaurant

1st visit to De Baga Chapel Allerton, following everyone telling me how great it was, and I now see why De Baga is the talk of the town for Indian Food. Fantastic food, service and decor and fully appreciate and agree with the hype. I would honestly say it’s the best Indian restaurant in Leeds and can’t wait to visit De Baga again. We had the lamb and chicken curries with tandoori roti and would recommend this to order.

Beautiful experience at Tattu! Not only was the presentation of the food amazing, but it tasted just as good. Our waitor, Evaldas, was very attentive, and friendly. Would definitely recommend the small plates of the red belly pork, and the szechuan rock shrimp! Look forward to going back soon!

A pleasant enough venue on the 13th floor of the Hilton overlooking Leeds City skyline.A decent range of drinks and cocktails available at reasonable prices for the location.Staff are friendly and welcoming, although on our second visit, the service was a little slow.I would call here again.

Oulton Hall Hotel, Spa & Golf Resort

Stayed recently as a couple for 2 nights. The hotel was easy to find, had plentiful parking and is a fabulous building, with very impressive decor. The room was lovely with everything you would need, very comfy pillows and bed, great shower, lovely thick light blocking curtains. However despite the luxury of the place both of us only thought the stay was OK and it is difficult to say exactly why, just the little things: it didn't feel like somewhere you could comfortably wander around and explore or just leisure around in. Usually we like to use facilities, spars and pools the bar etc but not this time. It felt like most staff were working from a formula from which they didn't deviate and were not really interested in ensuring you made the most of your stay. On arrival very little was explained, no details of breakfast times, pool or spar arrangements etc. On leaving not even a 'have you enjoyed your stay, was everything OK?', despite no one else queuing behind us. No sweetener on the tables at breakfast only sugar. No teaspoons on many place settings, and none available by the coffee machine. No spare knives available by the toast etc so if your cutlery was taken there was no obvious replacements. Monday breakfast had lots of choice but decidedly less on Tuesday, eg no crumpets and no sign of any. The cooked breakfast selection was regularly topped up and things were hot. Despite usually eating in for evening meals we decided to go out but both evenings on return we were greeted with a very strong fishy odour which filled the entrance and lobby area, clearly from the restaurant. It was not pleasant to return to but had we eaten there we probably wouldn't have noticed. You can walk to a bus stop and catch a very regular service into Leeds so it's well positioned for that. A good hotel that others may well adore but just had that special something missing for us.

We stayed over at Crowne Plaza and wanted an early dinner, as we were going out for the evening. Dinner service started at 5.00pm,, so we went down for dinner. The menu was varied enough and we both enjoyed the Chicken Schnitzel followed by Cheesecake. My husband's food allergy was taken seriously by the staff and kitchen. We were served by the Polish Lady, who name I have forgotten, and Katie. The were both excellent. We had an excellent experience.

I think it's a tad more expensive than some other Shell garages, but the staff are always polite and friendly and they have a good selection of chocolate (including the delicious, sensual, white chocolate twicco), and a quite frankly, a baffling amount of protein bars. My car also thanks me for filling it's tummy with nice yummy super unleaded.

Great petrol prices on both petrol and diesel, I go to this petrol station almost every week, the staff are always extremely friendly and helpful when paying for your petrol or diesel, in the shop the prices are not a total rip off like some stations⛽️ Highly recommend 😁

I had a great experience at Subway Moortown. My server, Rittick, was very friendly and helpful. He took the time to explain all of the menu items to me and made sure I was satisfied with my meal. He was also very patient and accommodating when I had special requests for my sandwich. I would definitely recommend Rittick's services to others!

I really enjoyed my Iftar experience at Mumtaz. The dates and soup etc. were a really thoughtful touch for Muslim customers. The mixed grill was nice but I particularly enjoyed the butter chicken and garlic naan. The service was really organised around Iftar time and I was really impressed.

Woodies Craft Ale House

A lovely warm greeting when I walked into the pub. The staff were fun, pleasant and helpful. A good selection of beers, a very pleasant and relaxing ambience even though it was quite busy. I was staying nearby so the pub was only 5 minutes from my accommodation and I went there every night for supper. A great find! Service with a smile was excellent and the food was really good too. I can't think of one negative thing to say about this establishment. 5* from me!

Came for a walk around Roundhay Park though started here at the Garden Room Cafe. Had the Coronation Flatbread and Masala Chips from the specials menu - well and truly satisfied the food was fantastic and the staff were so friendly and polite. Love this place. My favourite food destination for quite sometime ? Lunch yesterday was super tasty and at a very reasonable price. They have been serving Keralan cuisine here for almost 10 years and the consistency of the food is amazing. I came here for my 25th birthday with my partner. I’d read reviews online to see if the place would be good (it blew every expectation out of the water.) I disagree with any review that says the service is bad: the service was perfect - we never had a moment where we felt unattended, all the staff looked after us and made sure we knew what was going on and how long the kitchen may take. After our starters were finished we were asked if everything was good and if we were done; one person took out plates and another gentleman gave us new cutlery and plates. The food was exceptional! We enjoyed every single bite of what was given to us and couldn’t even finish it all between the two of us. They kindly packed our leftovers for us which we enjoyed the next day (which were just as delicious.) I would highly recommend dining here: you will be well looked after, the staff are exceptional and the service is perfect. They also offer the perfect drinks to compliment any meal and will offer recommendations if you are unsure.

You'll have a good experience here. But back to that location... being in the corner of a nondescript industrial office building means they'll always have an issue generating much of an atmosphere. You're not going to be magically transported to Tuscany or Campania, and the interior decor is quite sparse and basic. But why should they change it? We had the four course set dinner menu and I had the wine pairing alongside. Each course was lovely, and the food is innovative with fresh seasonal ingredients. The wines are also interesting and something a bit different. Highly recommend!

Nice little craft beer / brewery tap. A short stroll from the centre but worth it.Nice outside areas but not suitable for our February visit.Plenty of craft to choose from. Not many mainstream beers, mostly sours and fruity versions with a couple of pales on our visit. Still a good choice.Food looked superb.Traditional slightly surly craft bar staff.

We had such a wonderful meal it was from the Christmas Menu and was very well priced . The staff were very friendly and the house music was fantastic… just up our street, blended Motown and soul . A fabulous evening! We will definitely be going again soon .

We came on a Monday for our anniversary, and Eve was fantastic. She wished us a happy anniversary as soon as we sat down, and then was very knowledgeable about all the food and drinks and answered all of the questions we had, and recommended us a brilliant wine. She was then very attentive and filled up our wine and water without having to ask, and always stopped to talk to us to ask us about ourselves and was incredibly friendly.The food was outstanding (we had the chicken and the rump steak with the triple cooked chips and creamy mash on the side) and the restaurant itself was beautiful, and we had a fantastic time. We even got a delicious dessert with "Happy Anniversary" on the plate which was a lovely touch.As two managers in hospitality and knowing how difficult it is to get good staff, Eve exceeded our expectations and was a credit to the restaurant and to herself, and made our anniversary even more special.

Such a cool experience everyone should visit once in their life if fortunate to. Me and my boyfriend had never done anything like this before and I kindly got vouchers for my birthday. It did cost the price of a European city break but was defo worth it for a rare treat. Such a unique experience and remained cool and hip rather than snobby. Staff were lovely and sooo knowledgeable about wines and each course. Chefs came out with certain courses. We felt very looked after. 100% reccommend

The staff here are really friendly and despite being totally indoors within the station building the few tables out the front make it feel open and refreshing. Indoors there’s options to relax with a drink as a singleton, or a group meal, with everywhere being clean and spacious. Given the prime location the prices are reasonable and if you don’t have time to venture far it’s a decent option for a drink.

Out of the Woods

What a gorgeous spot! Staff were a delight, our oat lattes were delicious, and the atmosphere was really warm and inviting. We didn’t try the food but it looked delicious and was really reasonably priced for the quality and quantity. Excited to go back soon to sample the food! 10/10 recommendation.

Great people who spend a great deal of time making sure the experience is tailored. Worked super well to my dietary requirements, food is absolutely beautiful. Would see this getting a Michelin star shortly!

Morley Chinese Takeaway

We order from Morley Chinese every other week! Absolutely delicious food, we had moved to gildersome and tried every Chinese going but Morley Chinese is 1000% the best around the food is always spot on and hot! fantastic quality and great portion sizes, our whole family and friends get us to order when they are over as they love it just as much as us!! delivery staff are always pleasent and when we collect they always go above and beyond for our autistic boy who has nut and peanut allergies, we feel safe eating here thank you Morley Chinese ☺️ keep up the good work from number 11

Nando's Leeds - Trinity

Great experience at Nando’s.The girl who took our order even said she would help us download the Nando’s app. While we ate our meal she was cooking on the grill and plating up food so we thought she wouldn’t remember but as we finished our meal she appeared at our table and did it for us! We asked her name and it was Leeanne. She was so friendly professional and helpful.Great customer service!

Came here with a big group. I'd describe it as a moderately priced, local and warm bar with decent pricing and the food staples which you'd expect. The staff are friendly and welcoming and every server was attentive and lovely! Will come

Falafel Guys

Delicious food and fab service. The wraps are so tasty and all good values. The team were great with our young children too, bringing over extra treats which they loved. Will be going back!

Fish Out

Gluten free fish and chips! Run, don’t walk! Gluten is among my food sensitivities, and Fish Out has a great allergen menu on their website so I could eat without worry. Pictured here is the Regular size, which is huge! The gluten free batter was crispy perfection and the fish was flaky.

Old Ball

Great pub to while away a few hours in or have a meal with friends.The staff are helpful and friendly and they have pool and darts - what more does a pub need?They also show popular sports matches.

OWT

We have always loved Owt since they were in the Corn Ex and we’re excited to see what they had done with their new restaurant. It’s so lovely inside and I love how they’ve kept it in theme with the previous restaurant. The food was amazing as always and the gluten free fried chicken noodles were so good I could’ve eaten it again. My friends dishes all tasted so good too, everyone polished their plates. Love the Owt team and the new gaff is so lovely! Well done x

My Thai

Small restaurant hidden in a building basement.I started with a sea food tom yum soup which was more sweat then sea foody but was still good and tasteful. The duck curry for the main was still on the sweet side but was en explosive of flavours and the meat was tender and delightful.The service was very good and friendly and prices were very decent.

Noi's Thai Kitchen

Absolutely amazing food! Fresh, tasty and beautifully presented.Clean, great service and lovely atmosphere.A very rare accidental find and we have been blown away by our experience here. Defo coming back!Parking: Reasonable size car park but could be problematic on match days.

Original Fisheries

You will be greated with a friendly smile when you go in this lovely little fish shop. The fish and chips, not forgetting the Irish curry sauce, are the best All for a really good price! What's not to like !

The Crafted Cake House

I ordered a Leeds Utd cake for my brothers 60th birthday, Natalie was very helpful in advising what to have, it was chocolate with vanilla cream and icing. It looked amazing and tasted wonderful. They even delivered the cake to the restaurant we were having the meal at. I would highly recommend!

Duck & Drake

Didn’t park there while waiting for a friend. There’s an arts and crafts shop nearby that is not relevant.The bar itself is great, good beer, live music and tasty pork pies to keep one’s stomach lined.

Semolino - Italian food in Leeds

Nice and very clean place.I went with my family and we ate very well. I highly recommend the soup, the tagliatelle alla boscaiola are fantastic, scallops ? in short, excellent. The owner? Very helpful . Well I recommend it.

O'Neill's Leeds

me and my partner LOOOVE irish bars and guiness and oneills did not disappoint! after a bad experience at oneills in london, me and my partner did not know what to expect but we were beyond happy at the service we received!the guiness was LOVELY, possibly the best we’ve had in leeds so far which is to be expected! we got the cheesy dippers, chicken and chips from the picky menu and the quality was lovely, wayyyy better than other places we’ve been to for nibbles!we will most certainly be returning ?
