Came here for my wife's birthday. We had recently been to Japan for our honeymoon so we came here to remember our time there. We had the wagyu steak, black garlic ramen and chicken katsu curry. All of the dishes were absolutely amazing and brought our memories of Japan flooding back. The atmosphere is relaxed and staff are all really nice. Our server Lara was great and attentive. We will definitely be coming here again in the future. 11 out of 10

We visited the Inkwell Bar while staying at the Claytons hotel and I have to say it was some of the best hotel food we have had in a while. We were shown to a table by our waiter (wish i could remember his name) and he brought us over all the menu's and took our drinks order, he then came back 5 mins later to take the food order. I had the pepperoni pizza, my partner had the prawn linguine and our lad had the chicken nuggets & chips. We also got a few sides aswell. Food arrived quite promptly and honestly visually the food looked amazing, upon eating it we were more than happy. The pizza was beautiful thin based and cooked perfectly. The pasta again was beautiful and deserves a place in a authentic Italian restaurant it was that good. Our son didnt speak much during his which tells us it was as good as ours hahaha. After mains we all had deserts I had the raspberry and white choc cheesecake, partner the vegan brownie and son the ice cream. With the ice cream you can choose 2 flavours and one topping my son wanted 2 toppings so our excellent waiter said yes tyats fine no extra charge. Upon the ice cream coming to the table they had given him 4 different toppings which he was ecstatic about hahaha. All deserts were just as good as the mains honestly beautiful, you could tell everything was made properly and with abit of love. The ice cream which i tried from my son is probaly the nicest ice cream i have ever had you could tell it is quality and not the supermarket bought crap. So all i can say is if you are staying at the Clayton in Leeds dont go out for food go here right in your hotel you will not be disappointed. From the food to the staff everything is 5* and our waiter deserves a special thank you from us for making our dining experience top notch ( wish i could remember your name lol). Keep it up guys you are doing an amazing job ????????

At busy times it can be difficult to find a seat but there's plenty of bar room available to stand and chat. The toilets are downstairs and also there is a pool table, a rather pleasant surprise find. All in all this pub is highly recommended.

However, there were a few areas for improvement. One of the fish portions ordered by my colleagues contained a bone. In addition, the customer waiting area appeared somewhat outdated and unclean, with dirty blue barrels left within the customer service area, which affected the overall presentation and cleanliness of the premises.

Always has a great selection of beer, probably the best within Leeds (though that's probably not saying much with how many places have closed). It is a bit out of the way for many people but definitely worth it if you are going for a few drinks.

I think it's also probably the only place in Leeds that still reliably has stronger strength beers like imperial stouts or DIPA/TIPAs.

This is the second time I ever got goosebumps while eating food. It is incredibly good, I was recommended nadal chicken with Tawa laccha paratha and if I ever return to Leeds this will be first thing I’ll do - eat it again!

Dinner in Leeds with Chef Jono at V&V last night was a delight. We visited to celebrate my wife’s birthday and every course on the taster menu was exceptional.
We genuinely ran out of superlatives.

We were also really pleased that Chef Jono took the time to speak with us at the end of the meal, which made the evening feel even more special.

In the end, we summed it up with our Son’s favourite phrase for a fantastic meal: “Bloody Lovely.”

We walked in and got seated for a table for 2.
Ordered our food at the till, hassle free and paid by cash.
Our food came out accordingly.
The Sweet Potato wedges were amazing! Soft and fluffy on the inside and crispy on the outside.
Our meals came accordingly nice and hot ! Very rare l say because the same meal l have had many times at Nando’s in Trafford Centre was served just about warm, not very nice.
The staff were very friendly checking how the food was quite frequently.
I’ve got to say must try the Peri-ketchup, it’s so good. It says hot on the bottle but not really, just a little kick!
All in all everything was perfect !
I will definitely be returning to this Nando’s in Leeds again very soon!

I had booked a table and as it got busier a few random people began to sit around our table, which became a little awkward. However, speaking to the bar staff they were able to kindly ask them to find a seat elsewhere. We visited for a hen do this weekend and honestly could not have asked for a lovelier, more accommodating pub. After a very eventful Friday night (which included one of our hens ending up in hospital ?), our plans completely changed and we arrived much later than expected. The staff couldn’t have been kinder or more understanding.

From the moment we arrived, they made us feel so welcome and completely took the pressure off what had turned into a very chaotic time. They really went above and beyond to make our bride feel special, and the whole atmosphere was incredible. As a huge Leeds FC supporter, our bride absolutely loved it!

Not only were the staff amazing, but everyone in the pub was so welcoming and friendly as well. The atmosphere was honestly brilliant, such a great place with such lovely people. Thank you so much for your hospitality ??

Really cool little café hidden in the arcade. The coffee and pastries are great, my friend and I got a mocha and a hot chocolate and both were sooo good.

Honestly, the vibe is the best part. There are Pokémon plushies upstairs and a Gundam at the stair corner, which is just super fun and unique.

Also love that they don’t allow laptops, makes it feel more chill and less like a workspace. Would definitely come back!
