Definitely best lunch my wife and I have ever had. Staff were all friendly and helpful and the decor was directly from a Parisian bistro. Now to the food. We shared 6 x Tempura king prawns for nibbles which were perfect. I had frogs legs for starters with a delicious warm salad. Duck and brandy parfait to start was loved by my wife. Main for me was halibut with clams and seafood chowder , every mouthful superb. The misses went for her favourite, Moules Mariniere and thought it delightful. We had to have desserts. Wifey went for iced white chocolate parfait with honeycomb, I chose apple tart which as you should know by now were both delicious.

Kendells Bistro

What a great find! A relative told me about Kendell's Bistro, so I thought I'd give it a go. Steve Kendell is the head chef and owner and he has created a fabulous French bistro in the heart of Leeds. The food is perfectly cooked and the portion sizes are good; not the fussy small plates you sometimes get in higher end restaurants. I thoroughly recommend Kendell's for a great meal and fun night out.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options availableKid-friendliness: Took two teenage kids and there was not an issue.

Veeno Leeds

Nico and his team were so welcoming and accommodating. Nico’s knowledge on the wine and food pairings and wine in general were incredible and we learnt so much. It was such a fantastic experience from start to finish. Can’t wait to take my dad in January as a Christmas present! Thank you so much for a wonderful evening and accommodating the fact I don’t drink red wine!

A place for people who like to eat.In this day and age we are bombared with fancy plates and gimmicks to give the impression of fine dining. This is not this place.The swine that dines is a place for people who love food. Uncomplicated dishes that shine in your taste buds. The freshness of ingredients, the balance in the flavors, the sheer LOVE in the food is palpable. All this combined with the amazing service and cozy place make for an unforgettable dining experience. Best place in Leeds hands down.

The Wardrobe

Had dinner here before seeing Cate Canning in the venue below and it was genuinely the best burger I’ve had! Cocktails were also brilliant. The venue was also super cute and had a great sound system. Nothing to complain about. Super convenient having a restaurant in the venue for those travelling as we didn’t have to find anywhere else so saved us a bunch of time rushing around too.

Turtle Bay Leeds

Jordan was a fantastic server. Easy rapport and sense of humor. Great service and an asset to Turtle bay. Friendly, professional and knowledgeable and enhanced our experience.Thanks Turtle Bay for doing blue light discount. Will be back soon.

La Palmera Restaurant

Great food. Great presentation and taste. Space is unusual, service fantastic. Only suggestion for improvement would be a few healthier, and or veggie food options on the menu. All the classics are there.

Caracas Grill La Taberna Leeds

Everything was so amazing!! Planning to come back soon!!! We went for my boyfriends mums birthday and everything was perfect. We really wanted a place that can make it feel special and this place did exactly everything! The food the atmosphere and the service was all brilliant. We ordered nearly everything off the menu all to share and everything we found incredible. She was really happy and so was you ! Would recommend this place to anyone especially for a special event. Unfortunately didn't get pictures of the food because we was busy eating it all.

We came for my partners birthday Sunday 17th Sept and from start to finish we had such a lovely experience. Our Waitress had blonde hair, I am so sorry I didn't get her name she was so attentive and friendly. All three courses, coffees and cocktails were 10/10 would definitely recommend, lovely location too!

Absolutely fantastic! The food was just outstanding, every dish surprising in its own way. I don’t go often to vegetarian restaurants but I was SO glad we did this time. Literally every bite was a little party in your mouth. And the staff was just so nice and easy-going, loved it!!

Fazenda Rodizio Bar & Grill Leeds

Absolutely amazing, the meat was great quality and tasty, the sides were pretty good and the price £48 for unlimited good quality meat and sides with a buffet is just extremely good value for money. But what stands out is the friendly service and the great meat cuts. The lamb for me was a bit dry but its only preference their chicken was cooked to perfection and their wagyu sausages were amazing. Highly recommended

Riva Blu Italian Restaurant & Bar, Leeds

Absolutely amazing food, service, all staff are lovely. One in particular, who was our server for the night who goes by the name of Samu must have been the most politely spoken, helpful and full of kindness. Will definitely recommend to the rest of the family as well as coming again myself.

Da Vito Ristorante

A wonderful little Italian on York Place. An extensive menu with something for everyone at a very reasonable price. Firstly you a served a complimentary appetiser of flat bread and cold meats so I was glad we didn’t opt for the garlic tomato bread as I think we’d have struggled to finish our meal. Both John and JJ ordered the Prawn Cocktail for starters which seems to be their go to dish, not a standard prawn cocktail as it had beetroot, apple and pomegranate added to it which made it even tastier and I opted for the buffalo mozzarella, tomato and avocado. For mains again the boys went for the same dish of tortellini ragu and I the tagliolini salmon. We were all very pleased with our choices and wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Da Vito’s to anybody visiting Leeds.

Slug & Lettuce - Park Row Leeds

Always loved slug & lettuce but just been for bottomless brunch for the first time & out of all the bottomless brunches we’ve been to or seen advertised I can say this is the best one by far! The drink range is more than enough and the food is to a great standard! Eddie was brilliant with the service and was straight back to bring us another drink as soon as he could see we were nearly ready! Extremely good customer service and definitely got more than enough for our money! :) would highly recommend!

Came for a bottomless brunch on the 11th with a group of girls and had such an amazing evening!! We were well looked after and our waiter Louis did an amazing job at making sure we always har drinks at the table and everybody was enjoying themselves! Would definitely Recommend to anybody

Very enjoyable Greek style food, alcoholic, soft drinks and hot beverages at average prices.Atmosphere could be more Greek though so restaurant could improve on that score.A video of views of Italy was playing on a large screen T.V. why not views and music of Greece?

Went for a Date night with my partner for a meal first time we've been here , & honestly can say food was lovely I had the spaghetti bolognese & my partner had a calzone , service was great very friendly atmosphere, will be calling again sometime ☺️

The Adelphi

I liked everything about The Adelphi. I love the original, carefully maintained interiors, the lighting, and the layout of the dining area. The beer was delightful and the Sunday roast was superb, even at that late time of day. To top it all off the staff were friendly and attentive. I am from Australia and was visiting family in Leeds for the second time. I’ll always go back to the Adelphi.

Tavernaki Bistro

17 of us for my wife's birthday. Fantastic food great service and so authentic. 28 degrees we could have been in Greece. Nothing was too much trouble and everyone commented about their individual dishes - highly recommended.

Nawaz Indian Restaurant Leeds

What a find! The tastiest treat for some weary travellers- a tiny restaurant with a magical chef. When we arrived there was a family enjoying a meal, the youngest of whom was eating a pizza from next door, a couple of students and people arranging a booking for their christmas party. My husband and I wanted to taste the whole menu but sadly our eyes were bigger than our bellies especially where the mega naan was concerned! Nawaz would be our new favourite curry house if it wasn't 3hours from home!

Ephesus Restaurant

First time visit and amazing food and service! We had the cheese rolls, hummus and bread, fried mozzarella and falafel finished with the nicest baklava ever! I can’t wait to return!

Crag House Farm

It takes a bit of time to sit in, but once you sit, the service is fast. The second time we went, they said they would have a table in about 30 min, so we left. We found it strange as we could see two vacant tables and there was no queue.

De Baga Restaurant

Honestly the best curry I’ve ever had…and I’ve had a few. So flavoursome and all the other options looked great too. The beer selection was really unique and complemented the curry really well. Very reasonably priced given the quality. Can’t wait to go back!

Oulton Hall Hotel, Spa & Golf Resort

We had a fantastic stay at Oulton Hall. The service as exceptional from the waiter serving us afternoon tea (which was delicious!) to the staff in the health club and restaurant. No request was too big and we felt exceptionally well looked after.The rooms were comfortable and stylish and the steak in the restaurant was one of the best cooked steaks I’ve had in some time! We will definitely be back! Thank you Oulton Hall!

Called here for a latte today and was served by a lovely lady called Rachel who told me to take a seat and she then brought my order over to me, some of the other staff members at other branches could do to be more like her, she was a breath of fresh air ?

We stayed over at Crowne Plaza and wanted an early dinner, as we were going out for the evening. Dinner service started at 5.00pm,, so we went down for dinner. The menu was varied enough and we both enjoyed the Chicken Schnitzel followed by Cheesecake. My husband's food allergy was taken seriously by the staff and kitchen. We were served by the Polish Lady, who name I have forgotten, and Katie. The were both excellent. We had an excellent experience.

Great petrol prices on both petrol and diesel, I go to this petrol station almost every week, the staff are always extremely friendly and helpful when paying for your petrol or diesel, in the shop the prices are not a total rip off like some stations⛽️ Highly recommend 😁

Fire Lake Grill House and Cocktail Bar, Leeds

Best burger and chips I’ve had in a long time. Kimberley and Eve made me feel very welcome and their standard of service was excellent. I can’t fault the food not the service. I will return.

I had a great experience at Subway Moortown. My server, Rittick, was very friendly and helpful. He took the time to explain all of the menu items to me and made sure I was satisfied with my meal. He was also very patient and accommodating when I had special requests for my sandwich. I would definitely recommend Rittick's services to others!

I think it's a tad more expensive than some other Shell garages, but the staff are always polite and friendly and they have a good selection of chocolate (including the delicious, sensual, white chocolate twicco), and a quite frankly, a baffling amount of protein bars. My car also thanks me for filling it's tummy with nice yummy super unleaded.

Extremely busy on a Sunday lunchtime but the food took approx 5 minutes to be ready to collect after ordering. As soon as someone left an employee was there to wipe the table clean, plenty of condiments and an overall good experience. Kids got some Halloween themed entertainment pack in an envelope too.

Ozmo's/Ozmoz piri piri shak

Dunno what these negative reviews are about, ordered a takeaway this evening and the food was absolutely banging. Possibly the best chicken wings I've ever had. Will definitely be ordering again.

McDonald's

Most McDonald's meet the same standards - that is sort of the point! I dropped in for a cheeky milkshake after a dinner out. It was pretty quiet, the staff were working hard and my drink arrived quickly.Special thanks to the lady on the front desk who gave me a second straw when I asked - I don't think a single paper straw is enough for a large milkshake and she agreed with that.Dietary restrictions: Full range of foodKid-friendliness: I feel less guilty when they make a mess as it can be cleaned up easilyWheelchair accessibility: I *think* there were 2 entrances, one of which was on street level without steps.

The second time visiting Park Fisheries, the first time the fish and chips were really really good hence my second visit, again the food was great with one exception, the chips seemed to be more like crisps than chips which was a bit disappointing but it's only my second time so maybe there was an issue perhaps? I`ll visit again and for one person a portion of fish and chips, large peas and a breadcake for just over £10 cant complain on the price point.Parking: Because the shop is on the corner you have ample parking opportunities to nip in and get your food

Kirkstall Bridge Inn

One of the best Sunday roasts me and my dad have had, accompanied by a great range of wonderful beers. We went for the slow cooked pork shoulder and the beef brisket roast, both of which were super tender and fell apart in your mouth. Can’t wait to go back. Went to watch England v Scotland game, table service was 10 out of 10 . Not once were any of us waiting for drinks. The staff worked really well together really well organised. They put more effort in than the England players.

We had no trouble with access, though we had a wheelchair, walkers and people with walking sticks.

Best pizza we’ve ever had, and I’ve been to Italy three times… No scrimping on the quality of ingredients, perfectly balanced flavours, the base is incredible too. Regularly get takeout, but sometimes eat in, where there’s a great choice of drinks, including San Miguel on an ice cold tap with not too much fizz…. It’s just sublime with pizza…

Aagrah Leeds City

The food was incredible and so was the service. One of the waiters even noticed we had finished one of our chutneys and immediately replaced it as we just mentioned to eachother that we wished we had more! Food was all delicious and great value in the end.

Leeds Corn Exchange

Independent fabulousness filled with all the handmade local artist vibes you can muster. A super gorgeous venue which I have known about for years after working in the city centre years ago. Was intrigued to see what it was like now and can thankfully report that it has been well looked after and is a lot more cared for and maintained that my memories of the place. Wedding ring bought from the fabulous jewelry maker Stephen on the second floor. A beautiful mug and a keyring bought from the Yorkshire shop, a nice cuppa bought and enjoyed looking at the stunning surroundings. Great place to stop and muse, and purchase those unique gifts. Make it a go to on your trip.

All in all, decent Thai food with a great range of choices. Price is slightly pricy end considering the food portion. The interior deco takes you straight back to Thailand. Great atmosphere.

Sukhothai Restaurant

One of the best restaurant experiences I have ever had! Lukas and Mariel were very attentive with service throughout. Our booking included a birthday which they also helped us to celebrate with a complementary dessert. I genuinely couldn't fault this place and would deffinitley reccomend it to anyone thinking of going out for Thai cuisine.

Bengal Brasserie

We went on a Friday night , food was some of the best indian food I've had in the city. Great portions and great prices.The reason for loosing a star is because the service wasn't good enough. Waited a long time to be acknowledged and was done in the end because someone randomly noticed us. It won't effect me coming again as the food was brilliant but hope for better second time round.

Gaucho Leeds

Went for a Sunday roast and it's honestly the best I've ever had! You are limited in that they only offer beef, but I'm use to having small slithers. This was proper thick cuts of beautifully cooked steaks. The potatoes were super crispy, the Yorkshire puddings melted under the gravy in a way that makes you ask for extra even when you're stuffed and the gravy was packed with flavour. Also the service was above and beyond, incredibly friendly staff who after my mum decided not to have a starter, still brought out an extra plate after asking so she could have a bit from ours. So yeah, I'm not going anywhere else for a roast ever again!

West Park Cafe

Popped in for lunch was one table left, lucky!Great service from cheerful, chatty staff. Ordered a light lunch, which was freshly prepared, plus coffee. All excellent, would happily call in again.Cakes looked delicious so bought some to take away and enjoy later.Free parking nearby a bonus.

Talk Of The Town

Honestly, this is one of the best fish and chips I have had. I ordered 4 regular fish and chips, which came to £35 and you will get your moneys worth. The portion is very big, the fish is very long and I almost couldn't finish my portion myself. The two young girls that served me were very polite, and the cook (which I guess is the owner) was cooking everything freshly. I went on a Thursday evening, and they were busy, but it was worth the wait, which was only around 10 or 15 minutes (I guess). I will definitely be ordering from them again!

Jino's Thai Cafe

Great Thai restaurant in the centre of headingley, good selection of dishes, all very tasty and reasonably priced. Fast friendly service, and a bonus you can bring your own alcohol at no extra charge as long as you spend over £15 a head. Highly recommended.

Ollies Fisheries

Fish was bit scrappy but got 2 small pieces which made 1 fish and chips best thing spice curry but place looks like needs good clean and defo they need new service tops they wasn't nice to look at won't be going back in a rush

Just visited the Dior counter and was served by Zena - she was absolutely fantastic! Great advice and service and went though all the products and her expertise on the perfumes was so helpful! And then to top it off Ayesha engraved everything beautifully and was so friendly! Great service and honest ppl!

Bison Steakhouse

It was a busy night due to everyone celebrating GCSE results but staff and management handled well. Food was really good and definitely worth the wait. Once you've ordered expect a good 30 to 40 wait whilst the chefs go to work on your order. I ordered the most expensive thing...fillet steak. Was much smaller than I expected but quality was there. The sauces are very good. Kids had burgers. They didn't complain. The seating area was a bit dull but staff were very nice. Clearly they enjoy working there. Customers were well behaved but at these prices you'd expect that.

Incredible experience at Hern.catered to my Dietary requirements with different substitutes that didn't make me feel left out from the experience. fresh and high quality produce used really made for such a delicious menu.Highly recommend to anyone gluten free or veggieIf I could give more stars I would!!!Staff where super friendly and well informed on each dish really adding to that fine dining atmosphere.Will definitely come again !!!

We came to Chef Jono for my boyfriend’s birthday and had the tasting menus: regular for me and pescatarian for him.All of the dishes were an explosion of flavours and creativity. The staff were very attentive (a signed menu for my boyfriend as a birthday gift, a wave goodbye from chef Jono himself when we left) and considering the number and the quality of dishes you get the price wasn’t over the top. We had a great time and a fantastic culinary experience. Thank you.

A small and cosy cafè with the friendliest of staff and great for value food!The menu selection is good, lots of different options to choose from. I had a bacon and brie toastie/sandwich and it was honestly to die for, it was sooo good!Our server, believe it may have been Marcel himself, was such a nice guy, provided great service and we were all very happy with the overall experience.Would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for a good breakfast spot!

What a gorgeous spot! Staff were a delight, our oat lattes were delicious, and the atmosphere was really warm and inviting. We didn’t try the food but it looked delicious and was really reasonably priced for the quality and quantity. Excited to go back soon to sample the food! 10/10 recommendation.

Great little pub in beautiful surroundings. Recommend being careful if it's particularly hot if you sit by the canal though as we all felt like we had sun stroke later that evening.

HOME

We dined at HOME on Wednesday night. Really couldn’t fault the food or service. All the courses were excellent and we were looked after brilliantly by Lydia who helped us create our own wine pairing with really helpful suggestions and advice. Also really impressed with all the small details (glasses, tableware and toilets). This place really does deserve a Michelin star.

Sukhothai Chapel Allerton

Had 2 starters and 2 mains, all were delicious, would say the panang curry was a bit too mild for me so maybe bit more spice and it would've been perfect :)

Kirkstall Brewery

Quick visit for our favourite pizza's, personally think KB is second only to Rudys in Leeds. Helps that the beer is superb too, had a lovely couple of pints of Sierra Nevada Pale Ale.

Bramley Fisheries

The best fish and chips ever.The quantity was just amazing, fresh taste and their Chinese Sauce is out of the world. Will definitely visit the place again. Very polite staff.

Fish Out

Absolutely fabulous fish and chips. Got the regular fish and chips, GBP9.25 as of October 2023, and the fish is very large. We took the sorry walk to the Leeds Train Station, and say and ate them there. I got the Curry sauce for the chips, and it was delicious.

Original Fisheries

Just ordered 3 x fish and chips with mushy peas and curry sauce. Definitely the best for miles around highly recommended. Only here for 3 weeks and will surely order again.....

Kapow Coffee

Had coffee & sweet snacks here today. The flapjack & chocolate brownie were substantial and amazing. My flat white was delicious, but lukewarm. Nice vibe here and interesting rustic decor. I will return, but I will ask for a piping hot coffee!

OWT

We both got the grilled cheese sando and chips with some green sauce. It was amazing would definitely recommend. Loved the green sauce. Probably could have got by with a portion of chips between us as I was stuffed after.

Horse & Trumpet Hotel Leeds

Good city centre pub with a great atmosphere. The Horse & Trumpet has been around for years and somewhere I've enjoyed a pint since I was legally allowed to drink.A good selection of food is available too, and the pub is pretty much busy every night.

Flat white was super strong which I really enjoyed it!The staff was nice and kind, very quick serving! Pancake, Egg Benedict and small English are my favourites from here :)

The Country Kitchen

Well cooked, tasty breakfast and great value. Good coffee to go with it and fast friendly service. Had a large breakfast, one build your own, toast and two hot drinks for less than £15. All cooked fresh and served hot. Recommend if you're in the area for eat in or take out. Can phone ahead too as many were.

Piassa Bar & Restaurant

Delicious food and excellent service. We had vegetarians and meat eaters in our party and everyone loved the food of which there was plenty. Every dish was flavoursome as was the coffee. Recommend and look forward to returning.

We entered this wonderful dessert destination after a late Italian lunch. The ambience sets the tone for an absolutely delectable dessert that you would cherish in your memories.What we had was the Lotus Biscoff French Toast- a sinful delight, beyond words. The French toast was so soft, with the Biscoff and the ice cream it is a journey to bliss

The Porter’s Lodge

Wow what a gorgeous hotel. Just perfect in every way. Gosha(apologies if I spelt your name incorrectly) on reception was truly so welcoming and helpful. The room was just superb. The bed is truly comfortable. Lovely shower and bathroom accessories. The hotel has had a beautiful refurbishment and is just so stylish. Breakfast was really nice, all freshly cooked and again perfect service. Attentive but not too much. Cant wait to find an excuse to come back.
