The service is very good and food was excellent...very big portions for the starters and the mains...for a Sunday lunch it should be packed but unfortunately not...hence why I have only left 4 out of 5 stars ✨...I would recommend eating here, nice decor nice friendly staff. We will definitely be back and will definitely recommend to family and friends.

Came for afternoon tea as a belated birthday present for my mum, the service was brilliant! We were constantly checked on by the servers and we were given a free round of drinks because we had to wait for the food, although we weren’t bothered about the wait at all as it was such a relaxing atmosphere and we didn’t feel rushed at all. Shame I didn’t catch any of the servers names to mention them by name, but they were all lovely and very welcoming. Great experience overall :)

Me and my family visited the restaurant today for afternoon tea i paid £30 on Groupon tea for two. I thought the amount of savoury food we got was shocking a couple of small finger sandwiches a sausage roll and an onion bargi then we had a scone sticky toffee pudding and a chocolate tart don’t get excited it was the size of a 10 pence piece and cheesecake that tasted like yoghurt and crushed biscuits not even tasting of lemon. We all came away still feeling hungry. It was a shame really because it was supposed to be a treat for my 60th birthday we have been a couple of years ago and then it was absolutely beautiful. I will not return I am extremely unhappy.

The restaurant was quiet and therefore had no buzz or atmosphere. We ordered club sandwiches but had to wait over 30 mins. Staff were friendly and helpful. Food was average with toast on club sandwiches hard and dry. Menu is essentially a slightly confused gastro-pub menu which is generally overpriced (sausage and mash £22.50).

The food wasn’t great and it was a limited menu and I must say the service was even worse we waited an hour for our mains to arrive and bottled water was over priced

Had afternoon tea and it was the festive one. It was OK but not worth the money. Was disappointed that the cups for your tea were a perspex type very plasticy. Would expect at least glass or China for amount it cost. Definitely won't go there again.

Overpriced crap. The food is terrible!!!!! And very overpriced. Was charged £7 for 2 250ml bottles of lemonade!!!!!! The wagu steak was disgusting. Ordered linguine carbonara. Wasn't served linguine ?. Think the chef needs to go back to cooking school. I think because the serve a bit of rocket topped with a smidgen of parmesan they can charge over the odds for it. The garlic bread was deep fried...full of oil ? don't waste your money and a place that looks top notch but has a third rate chef. Chef needs to go back to McDonald's

We ate Sunday lunch here whilst staying at the hotel. What a mistake. We didn't have starters as we thought we wouldn't be able to eat 3 courses. When the roasts arrived, the 'medium rare roast beef' was wafer thin slice of brown meat in gravy, like something you'd buy at the supermarket to go in a sandwich. One carrot and one parsnip each, hard roast potatoes and no greens. The Yorkshire pudding was fine. Nobody asked how the food was. When I asked to order dessert they brought me the bill. Although I'd told them my husband was lactose intolerant, the only thing he could have was sorbet. There were 2 other tables having Sunday lunch at the same time as us, both complained. The I left I asked if they'd like to know how our meal was, as nobody had asked us since we arrived. He said yes, so I told him. An apology but no offer to do anything about the bill. I complained again when we checked out and got a phone call today, 3 weeks later, offering to take 50% off the bill. So, if you'd like a poor meal, but 50% off three weeks later, go for it. If you'd like a good Sunday lunch, try elsewhere. We ate the next night at West Park Lounge which was a 10 minute walk away and much, much better.
